We are going to Disney at the end of December, and had booked a 2 bedroom suite for 7 of us at the Quality Suites.

But I got a postcard in the mail a few weeks ago, and for a few dollars less, we can get 2 one bedroom suites at the Buena Vista Suites, plus get 4 one day passes to Dinsey. It does invlove a 2 hour time share presentation, but thats ok.

Has anyone ever stayed at the Buena Vista Suites? I was hoping to hear some feedback from someone who has stayed at the Buena Vista Suites.

Thanks for any help.

I have friends that stayed there and they enjoyed it very much. They had nothing bad to say about the place and enjoyed the extra space. They did not do the timeshare however. It was not offered.

We stayed for a couple nights at the end of July. The walls are very thin, and the suite we were in was a little down at the heels, furrniture was kind of cheap and tired. You do get a little extra space, of course, and the refridgerator and microwave were convenient, but I just couldn't recommend it - especially if you have to sit through a timeshare presentation.

The lobby was nice, but the pool was just a "motel pool."

When we opened up the hide-a-bed, we had to call housekeeping for clean sheets. (crumbs from someone's late night tv munching, I suppose.) The hide-a-bed was reasonably comfortable. The sink had no stopper, and the room was on the dark side. The cover fell off the air return vent, and the filter had about a half inch of dust on it. Yikes. (Maintanence came immediately for that with a replacement, and got the cover back on.) The toilet/bath area was small - but big enough to dress in. The sink is outside of this little room, so that made it a little more functional for getting ready for the day. I slept on the sofa bed, close to the main hallway, and I heard every person who walked by, and every conversation. The people in my party in the bedroom heard none of this, so the living area does serve as a buffer. There was a group of loud kids one night, and security was responsive, but it was a pain in the neck. (Security disappears - they came back in the hallway and run and yell, over and over.)

Now for a bargain couple nights, it was do-able, but I wouldn't want to stay there for a week. Actually we only saved $10 a night compared to the other place we considered, plus they gave us breakfast. (which was okay.) Staff was pleasant and helpful and very responsive to our problems, but I can't even say "the price was right" for what we got. My sister told me not to cheap out ever again.
