Anyone sign up for DDE recently?

We are about to sign-up for the DDE and was wondering what the current expiration date would be? Would we be better off to wait until August to join so that our expiration date will be another month later?

I just did... with my AP it onlyt cost $50, I have 2 trips planned this year, 11 days and 6 days, so I think it will be worth it.. got my cards rather quickly too.

Yes, And I got my cards in about 6 weeks. I like the look. I have seen some people state they did not. My wife also felt that the look was pretty cool.

Now my quesstion???

Why is everyone so worried about expiration dates??? All of us on this board are total Disney Junkies who go for the most part at least once a year. And most multiple times. Therefore, I have accepted the fact that I am going to renew every year so there does not seem to be a big deal. AM I Wrong ???

I ordered it June 23rd, got my letter a few days later, it stated the cards expire July 31, 2006... I got my cards about a week later...

I ordered 7/1/05 and cards arrived 7/14/05 (with a 7/31/06 exp. date).
