Anyone sign up for Birchbox .com?

I just found the website birchbox.com and it seems really cool. For $10 a month you get 4 "samples" of brand name cosmetics. Sounds similar to the Allure Beauty Box, except you get 4 items every month.

I'm wondering if anyone has ever signed up and what your thoughts are.

I am on my second month/box and am very very happy. But before joining I read a lot of complaints, and a lot of people get boxes that they feel are pretty crappy. So I am just going to see how it goes. But on a scale of 1 to 10, so far with these two boxes I'd have to give it a 9. Very happy with my $10/month.

It seems very easy to quit too, so you can do month to month.

I've done both birchbox and my glam and canceled them both. I canceled birchbox because I just never got anything I could use. On my profile I marked dry skin and they sent me things for oily skin. It is really easy to cancel if you are not happy with it.

I've gotten 2 boxes so far. The first I was happy with, the second? Not so much. Really, a box of band aids? I'll give it another month or 2 and if it doesn't improve, I'll cancel.

I've been doing Birchbox for a while now. It's a box of 4-5 small items and you never know what you're going to get. With me, it started out pretty good and I have to admit I've been less and less happy with it. It's almost like they are scraping the bottom of the deluxe sample pile to fill the boxes now. I got Band-Aids too this month and I've gotten things like elastic headbands and candy bars, things I can't quite equate with beauty items. It's only $10 a month, so I keep hoping, but these past few months have been nothing much to brag about.

I have done a few different ones, including Birchbox. I'm on hiatus from all of them right now because I was just getting a bunch of stuff I wouldn't use.

Just got my first BirchBox and was pretty happy with it...I actually like the band aids. They are a nice change from plain latex ones or all the characters we still have. I'll see how it goes and I like the ease of cancelling. I plan to give it three months before deciding.
