Anyone ship a package to hotel...not disney

I always ship a package to disney....
with the must have items....stuff i dont want to carry....

Seems a lot of people do this....

Has anyone done this other than disney....
Is this a common thing to do....

Will most hotels hold a package for you?

I've done this many times, and had things shipped to me when I used to travel for business. I's very common. Just make sure you've got the guests name and arrival date (reservation number too if you've got one) clearly stated on the package.

I've also done this several times. I just put my name on the first line... Hotel Guest - Arrival Date xx/xx/xx on the second line... followed by the hotel's name and address beneath that. I've had packages arrive before we did and also after we've checked in and have never had a problem receiving them!
