Anyone seen Mulan at Disney?

We too have caught Mulan at the China Pavillion several times. I do agree with the others that Mulan should be in her Ping-wear more often. It would be nice for our daughters to see you can be a strong woman and not just a marriage minded princess. princess: ( not dissing the princess-would love to be one- just would like to show another side to the characters)

Saw her in May in China at Epcot. Surprisingly she was all by herself.

China seems to be the place I see her most, usually strolling through the street near the gift shop/ exit to Reflections of China. I also saw her at the Sorcerer's Hat and Innoventions (where the Visa Meet-and-Greet is now) na few years back but I don't think she's at either of those location now.

Most people walk right by her becaues they don't recognize her in her match maker outfit. I dont know why they present her in this dress, because she only wears it for a few moments in the movie where it is show she obviously doesn't like it. I wish she woudl come out as "Ping" more often. then she woudl be recognized.

We have seen Mulan twice, both times in the dress. One time was after the 1/2 marathon and I was wearing my donald medal. She made a big deal of it telling me I had show much courage and bravery. I  that picture!

The first time we saw her though still makes my family crack up. As we were approaching for a picture, an older couple, who clearly had NO idea who she was, walked up to her and asked her to point them towards the restrooms. :rotfl: She gracious pointed out the way to them. No one else seemed to notice her.

We saw her outside the Sorceror's Hat at MGM a couple of years ago

That reminds me of the time not a few weeks ago, A large line had formed to meet Kim Possible at MGM so i waited over by sorcer mickies building to watch from afar. and here she comes stroling down the way and some woman came right up to her before she could get to the front of her line and asked her what the line was for. and she reluctantly laugned and said to see me. the woman got a look of oops and quickly walked away.

We saw her in China also. There weren't many people around her and she was very interactive with the people who came up to her. Mushu was there also.

Yes! That is exactly why I'm so happy that my daughter has choosen Mulan as "her" princess. DD loves the fighting and honor aspect. She understands (even at 4) that Mulan makes a choice to save her father and uses her cleverness when her strength can't keep up with the male warriors. H heard Mulan (at Epcot) tell many of the young women and men to bring honor to their parents.

We saw her on our last trip at China....she was standing outside the big store in China....

I have seen her at MGM in her Ping out fit and her dress. I also see her at PSB breakfast in Norway in her dress.

I love Mulan, and wish they would have her come out as Ping. BTW, Donald_Fan, I LOVE that picture!
