DD came home form school, badgering me as her teacher stated she was going to see the show, however i gave in and checked to see the availablity.

On sat we are going to see the show.

Just wondered what it is like, prices of merchandise.

Went with my DD just after Christmas and had a great time! :thumbsup2

I now finally understand the whole HSM thing as the show summarizes the two films!!! :woohoo: Sadly, I can't comment on the merchandise as my DD's 25 years old and for some reason didn't want a laser light thingy or a Sharpay tee-shirt... :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

What a spoil sport!!!!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I know!!! I was desperate to get my hands on a set of the cheerleading pompoms but she frogmarched me out of the O2 to a nearby tapas bar and swiftly ordered a jug of sangria!!! Kids, eh??? :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

Actually I've just read it's going to be turned into a West End stage show!!! No way Disney's letting that franchise lay down and die!!! ;)

Oh well - better get my head in the game... :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I'm surprised that my DD's haven't dragged me to see this, as they're huge HSM fans :)

I took my two nieces to see it a couple of weeks ago because their mum had broke her leg so she could not get down the steps.
The show was really good and everyone was singing along.
One niece bought a pair of binoculars that cost her £6. I think programmes were about £7.
DD is going to see the musical (on stage) in July in Manchester.

i took my grandaughter,to the show in manchester, she loved it!!!
program £12
photo with cardboard figures £8
popcorn £6
slush puppy in plastic hsm beaker £7
we did not look at the merchandise,as i took her to the disney store, before we went to the arena & she bought her hsm stuff, from there.
we live in llandudno,so we turned it into,a real girlie day out.it was great:)
tracy:) :)

To be honest DD (9) and myself went to see it and were a little disappointed :confused3

Knowing the films / plot so well I wasn't too sure whether I should be observing the skating, dubbed singing, terrible, compromised, storyline or the fact that none of the skaters resembled the characters even remotely..................

Eve and several of her friends were of the same opinion - as Eve said 'it was good mum but not the greatest thing..............' :lmao:

I took my DD to see it at the O2 just after Christmas, she loved it and I enjoyed it (never having seen the movies but heard the songs more times than I cared to it was a good synopsis ;) ).

The programmes were £10 (but they sold out of them very quickly so get one early). DD also bought a microphone thingy which I think was also £10. They didn't really have a lot of merchandise and what they did have was a bit tacky I thought.
