Not spooky but creepy...
We had planned a trip to Disney for 9/13/2001...needless to say that week was cancelled due to the NY Trade Towers Bombing, but we would not let it run our lives so as soon as flights were available..we got on the first flight the next week and got an awesome rate at AKL ($100 a night)...
While we were there, we kept hearing folks knocking on our door (Zebra trail)...we'd go to the door and nobody was there...then one night we heard a knock late at night and we were starting to get miffed thinking it was just some kids (we had 3 small children under the age of 5 with us so we were upset it would keep them up) and with all the unknowns with Disney being a supposed target and such we were on high alert anyhow.
When we went to the door we found a flyer of sorts put in our doorway, we looked around and no other doors had this flyer..when we started reading it we began to get very spooked. I can't recall all the details but it had to do with a life story of some girl...it wasn't hand written but it wasn't mass produced either...something seemed very odd about it...but the ultimate message of the letter was that we were in the "end times" of Armageddon and to be very aware of our surroundings....it was freaky! We called security and they were there asking all sorts of questions and took the paper from us...they read it in front of us and too were commenting on how odd it was, especially with this being the week after 9/11...
I never heard back from security and we never received knocking on our door again after the letter came...
Very strange.

Take this for what it is, 3rd hand information. When I did my CP, I have NO idea how we got on the subject but one evening things were slow and my manager started telling me stories she'd heard from a friend that was a manager at the Haunted Mansion.
There were obvious things you'd expect - finding ashes along the route of the Doom Buggies, where people were scattering their loved ones. I'm sure that's all over the parks and I can imagine some hardcore fans wanting to be the 1000th happy haunt.
Others were creepier and I grilled her for a LONG time, waiting for her to break and tell me she was, in fact, kidding. She truly believes them. But like I said, I'm telling you all having heard from someone who heard from someone who was supposedly there. She claims that the friend claims that this is all documented in ride logs.
Master Gracey's grave has to be raked every so often so it always looks like a fresh grave. Usually this happens when they're starting things up in the morning, doing ride-throughs. When the "grave" is raked, the ride stops on its own. (this was the most unbelievable of all and the ones I was really REALLY grilling her on)
Ok, you all know the "hallway" you look down and see the candelabra swaying from side to side? CMs have supposedly reported that guests have come off the ride and stopped them to tell them how freaky it was to "have that person at the end of the hallway."
Also, CMs have reported guests reporting seeing someone sitting at Madame Leota's table. Guests who have ridden it many times are "startled" by the new addition and pass along their compliments to the CMs. When the CMs check, everyone is accounted for and there's nothing on video showing a CM in there trying to mess with people.
I'd also heard a story a long time ago, can't remember all the details, about a little girl that haunts Body Wars. There's apparently one particular bay where she's spotted. . . or was spotted when it was open.
WOW!Creepy! Never seen anything but have seen pictures from other ppl at Epcot with those strange light things in them. I am sure you know what I am talking about.
Ohhhh, does anyone have any pictures?????!!!!!Can I add a ghost story..not Disney related??
when I was about 8 or 9 we lived across from O'Hare Airport in DesPlaines, and one of the big planes crashed, literally right behind where we lived. I remember stories of "people" knocking on doors of the houses looking for luggage. I don't think anyone survived that crash.
It's been happening for the last few months. We lost my Dad and father-in-law within 10 months of each other. Maybe they decided to be there at the ceremony

You must be my age because I was that age when I remember that happening. I grew up a few towns south of O'Hare and remember it on TV and that my mother was caught up in traffic that was closed on the highway near the crash. That was so sad when it happened.
