Anyone see Oprah today??

They have on the guys from Invisible Children. Well if you get a chance to see their documentary I really encourage you to, they do lots of screenings across the country. It's very powerful and there a lot of ways to help out.

I'm glad to see Oprah letting people know about this stuff happening! So important to help out and there are manys way even if you don't have any money even just writing a letter.

I think only through IC. They are coming out with a feature-length film in December.

They showed these guys the other day on Channel One, a news channel shown in schools.

They were interviewing those precious children, and by the end of the show, I was sitting at my desk with tears running down my face. I had to go to the bathroom to settle down before I could start teaching. How can people be so evil as to do that to children?

1 or 2 years ago I read an article about a young man from Uganda that had somehow found his way out of there and into a high school here in Massachusetts.

It was a crazy story. I remember re-telling the story to my DH and I was just amazed.

I'd love to see the movie but there are no showings in Massachusetts. I may purchase the DVD.
