HI This is my first post and want to say hi :p We are doing the 7 day land and sea Cruise, 3 days in Disney World then 4 days out at sea. This is our first cruise and just can't wait to go. It will be the 3 of us me Frankie, my wife Laura Ann, & my 4yr old daughter Francesca. My daughter keeps asking me everyday when are we going on the cruise? How do you tell a 4yr old that we aren't going for another 2 months or so :p Is there anything we should know before we go? Thanks. Oh yea and thank you for welcoming me in to your forum.

Hi y2kemi, Yes we are very excited especially my wife she is a big Mickey fan lol. We are doing the 3 days in Disney World and then out to sea on Sun. How did you arrange your trip? My daughter is only 4 so we thought just 3 days at WDW would be just fine and spend the remaining 4 days on the boat. Yea this is our first cruise, never been on one before so we are looking forward to it. My wife and my Daughter keep poping in the video of the cruise that DCL sent us, I have to hide it all my daughter keeps asking me is "are we going tomorrow" lol. We are in Cat. 5, the stateroom looks ok but I really wanted the suite :p Anyway thank you for replying to my post, for a minute there I thought we were going to be the only ones on the boat lol. Thaks again

Oh no, bad news. We are actually sailing on the 18 whereas you are at WDW on the 18. Sorry. But as to other things, we are very excited and I can't wait to see all the fish and aquariums and such at Atlantis. We will be there the 19. We have gotten so much info from these boards - they are wonderful :D Read through people's questions because they give a lot of info we weren't aware of like buying a hotel room at Atlantis to get the wrist bands b/c just going doesn't entitle you to the pools. Sign up for the kid's club as soon as you get on board. Even if you don't use it a lot, at least you have a slot. Get a passport for your entire family and don't forget your birth certificate. Stuff like this that is really good to know.
We did WDW for 7days 6 nights in 2000 and had a blast :Pinkbounc . We are planning another land trip in 2003 for at least the same amount of time if not longer. Staying in one of the hotels on the monorail in almost a must, it makes it so much more relaxing and easy to do Disney. Have a great time and maybe we'll hook up in the future.

IM sorry I should of said July 21st. I keep saying the 18th and forgetting that were in WDW for 3 days lol. There is a lot of good information on this board and it is all coming in handy. See now you say to get a passport and everyone is telling me including my travel agent that we don't need it only a birth certificate, but Im going to take your advice and get passports...it can't hurt. IM also going to take your advice and sign up for the kids club, Im not sure if they will let me since IM older now but I will give it a shot :p (just kidding). There is still so much I have to do and I don't know where to start. Anyway I hope you have a great time and a relaxing one at that. Take Care
