Anyone ridden the Segway?

Riding on the July 26 Magic with DW and 2 DS and wondered if the Segway was still available for riding. Saw on old Navigator that you could ride the Seqway on the cruise for $15. Anyone tried it?

Yes, hubby and I have done it on Castaway Cay and also in the atrium. It is a BLAST!! (although pricey.)

Can you book or reserve a ride or is it first come serve?

We just came back from Dairy Queen with the kids and we passed a guy riding a Segway on the way home. Outside of Epcot this was the first one I have seen. I would love to try one myself.

Tim, I was witness to the Michelle/Segway roadkill incident , and at that time, it was first come, first serve.

I did (successfully) ride it myself and like Barb said, it was a blast!!!

It's still first-come-first-served, but on Castaway Cay it's rarely very crowded.
You can also rent Segways at NEVrland in Celebration, FL, but you have to make reservations at least a day in advance.

I forgot about that, Barb! I stayed at the Celebration Hotel in May and saw them. They really are fun!
