It's my best mate's Hen Night on Friday and she has just texted me to say that she has hired a pink limo for the night.

We get to cruise around Edinburgh for an hour before we go to the restaurant.

Anyone done this??

yes, a few times, its a great laugh with the music blaring along to the videos showing on the tellys and quaffing champers behind the blacked out windows.
I did get a limo transfer in Florida last year - I tell you its the only way to leave 'the world'.
I must admit though I did have a limo transfer once for business and its not the same without a bunch of screaming girls knocking back the bubbly - in fact it was rather boring but good on the legroom.

Sounds like fun. I haven't done anything like this but would love to. Have a great time. :thumbsup2

I bet you will have a fantastic time :teeth: my sister is hiring a limo for her prom next month.

The only time I've been in one was when staying at La Source in Grenada. They use them for all their arriving and departing guests. Sadly, the hotel was only 5 minutes away! :confused3

We had a limo for my friend's hen night ~ it was great fun, it dropped us off at a couple of pubs for a quick drink at each and we had a bottle of bubbly on board. I hope you have a great time and I'd love to see some piccies (of you and the limo :) )

It is great fun Florence - we hired one last year for my mum's 60th birthday, to take us to the restaurant. Very nice sipping bubbly in the back!! :thumbsup2

We had one for our wedding in Florida :) Just the way to travel :)

Sounds wonderful ~ really excited about it now.

Will let you all know how it was.

When I was on a school trip to NYC we got a limo to take us around the city for half an hour one night. That was an incredible experience for a bunch of 14/15yr olds!

We hired a limo for our vow re-newal in March :thumbsup2

It was lovely with loads of ice cold sodas in the bach and a Disney DVD for Eve to watch :sunny:

A bottle of bubbly would have been nicer tho..............had to behave as I was driving later ;)

I got to go in a Limo for my Prom last year. It was OK, but it was cramped because I was put in the back for being shorter than everyone else (and therefore could fit in there. :teeth: )

By the time we got home, everyone was a bit grumpy/drunk to care anymore so we just sat there listening to "Build Me up Buttercup" and hoping not to be sick everyone. And we were only 16! (Of course, I was NO where near the Alkey-hol :) )

Would like to go in one again; but not the back.

I can't say I have seen too many pink limos around!

We always get a limo from JFK to Manhattan as its the best option with 3 children and lots of luggage! I also agree with Carol that it's the only way to leave WDW :goodvibes

:wizard:

No I haven't! Sounds like great fun - please post us a photo

We saw a pink and white limo the other day :sunny:

Looked like a giant slab of coconut ice - or one of those pink and white marshmallow biscuits :rotfl:

WE hired one for my dad's 50th a few years ago and went from East Calder to Queensferry and had fish suppers at the Forth Bridges with Irn Bru( My dad's favourite meal ;) )and then drove back via Edinburgh with a bottle of Asti Spumante for the adults. We even took DD who was a baby in her car seat. It was FAB !! I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

It is great fun. You will really love it. Mark surprised me when he hired a limo for our 9th wedding anniversary six years ago. He had secretly arranged for our friends to come too and took us to the Hard Rock Cafe in London and the limo picked us up, drove round London then took us home.

We also hired one when we went to Las Vegas just to drive up and down the strip to pose.

Have a great time and let us know what you get up to!!
