Anyone return an Amazon.com purchase through Kohl's?

It's so odd because I have been to 4 different locations and they all have clothes just laying on the floor under the racks. Haven't seen it like that in any other stores. One time they had a small appliance on sale that we wanted. Got there and they had none in stock, but I noticed a discarded fast food cup sitting on a shelf. We went back twice over the next week trying to get the item and the cup was still there!
That's too bad. Both that I shop at are clean and tidy.

Also, the gift QR code isn't the same as the Kohl's QR code, you have to do the return first. And the UPS code isn't the same and we don't ship it to UPS first. And you have to wait for us to process it, and you will get a receipt. We have had people just "drop off" the item and leave! (during the busy holiday season)

I certainly got that I would have needed the specific return QR code. However, when one has that, it's pretty nice that I wouldn't necessarily need to dig up a box, as well as packaging materials including tape. A lot of times my wife will get a delivery from Amazon and immediately break it down and maybe toss it in recycling. Then maybe in a couple of weeks she no longer wants or needs it. I did the packaging myself anyways, but we were able to find some of the boxes (some had only been opened but the items left in the box) and it was a nice to actually get rid of them.

My only issue is that there really isn't a Kohl's that near our home. I actually went out of my way since my wife had already selected Kohl's as the acceptance point.

The other place that can do this is one of Amazon's college delivery/acceptance facilities that's also open to the public. They use to have Amazon electronics demos, but I guess they got abused or even stolen. That place can recycle boxes as well as packing tape for people making returns or just resealing deliveries after checking the contents. It's kind of like an Amazon Locker location except that packages are inserted in the drawers in real time and they're not really locked boxes. Over there one shows up, shows the pickup code or enters it in a machine, and someone working in the back sticks it in a drawer from behind. I've waited up to five minutes before it was confirmed to be there. I suppose the system works better than Amazon Locker because they don't typically have drawers filled with the same item for a day or two, but have lots of turnover.

I returned stuff this way. It worked out okay. I'd rather go to the UPS store, but that option isn't always available. I don't shop at Kohl's, so I'm really not tempted to buy anything.

Yes - easy peasy - loved it!
Shop at Kohls when I can get a good deal - not a fan of their 'normal' double prices!

My DD works at Kohls and handles Amazon returns.
She helped a man yesterday that had a pile of dresses to return. He was getting frustrated trying to do it all, so DD helped him. Took her 1/2 hour and he really appreciated it. Came back with a Starbucks gift card for her.

But not everyone is nice!!
