Their rates for our June trip is $100.00 less than anyone else.

It says they are offsite. Does anyone know if it's really far from the airport?
Can't decide if the $100 is worth the inconvenience? :confused3

Please let me know your experience with fox.

Thanks! :goodvibes

Yeah same here, price for my June dates is less than any other car rental company, says offsite but offers free shuttle to rental car place and tells you where to get shuttle in airport so I am hoping its not that bad, also when is best time to book rental car for the June dates, not sure how much the prices will fluctuate between now and then.

I finally booked with dollar in the terminal, and went with the next class down.
I just havent heard anything about fox.
But, I will keep checking.
It seems like car rental prices fluctuate up and down quite a bit.
Will keep you posted if I find anything better.:thumbsup2

Ok thanks, it looks like our dates are just about the same too I leave in 5 months 2 days, in 5 months I get married and then our honeymoon to Disney & Universal! So excited! It will be future DH first time there.

I just did research for reviews on fox and all were terrible, I am going to stay onsite with a someone I've heard of before Hertz, Alamo, Dollar, Budget etc.

I have not rented with Fox in Orlando but did rent with them in Las Vegas. First you had to ride a shuttle off the airport to the main car rental site, then you had to catch a Fox shuttle to their site. Once there, the lines were unbelievable. I waited more than an hour just to pick up the car. I have never been in a line with so many angry people, due to the extremely long wait. The line moved very slowly because they had only 2 people working the counter and there were many inexperienced car renters in line, so everything took 4-5 times longer than usual. Their cars have much higher mileage than the big name rental companies; ours had over 30,000 miles on it, although everything worked and it ran fine.

They were by far the cheapest rental place, but I would not use them again. It wasn't worth saving money to go through that pick-up hassle.

Thanks you confirmed all the other reviews I have read as well, I am sticking with a name company at this point looks like Dollar but definitely one that is on airport campus.

My family recently had a bad experience with Fox in Las Vegas as well. DM, DSis, aunts and uncles went to Las Vegas for Christmas. They waited til almost the last minute to book a mini-van. I advised them not to book with Fox because of the bad things I had read. Well my aunt didn't listen to me and booked with Fox because they were the cheapest at the time. They got to Fox and picked up the mini-van. First off, the windows didn't roll down. They were willing to live with that. Just pulling out of their parking lot, they discovered the turn signals didn't work, a/c didn't work (they said it was actually pretty warm) and I quite can't remember, but I know something else wasn't working. They went back to Fox to return the mini-van for another. They didn't have anymore mini-vans to offer. They didn't offer any type of upgrades or discounts to possibly a SUV to accommodate the number of people they had, so they just landed up returning the vehicle and getting a full refund. Needless to say they won't ever rent from Fox again. They had to take a couple of taxis to their hotel (from Fox) and count on public transportation to get them around.

Went on dollar, and put in my dates without any promo codes.
It will give you some city special rates for Florida.
I got a better rate with a full size car than I had for my mid size.
Not too bad.

I just did the same thing and a compact was cheaper than economy without using a code(only 2 people so it will be big enough). I reserved it while I continue to look. Thanks for the tip
