Well, there is a new bank offering a sign up bonus. It is ING Direct. You get $25 for signing up with as little as a $1 deposit. HOWEVER, I don't think you get that bonus without a link from a referral, which I know isn't allowed here.
BUT>>>>>>>>>>> if you sign up at their main page without a referral, I believe that once you confirm your account (this is done by them making 2 small deposits into your checking account and you verifying the amount of the deposits) then you will quallify for the referral program where you can earn $10 for each referral up to $250. I signed up on Thursday and my account does now have $26 available. Note: the link for the referral program doesn't show up until your account is confirmed.
