Anyone remember this ride?

I remember a ride that was at Epcot years ago. I know it was there about 10-15 years ago and I don't guess it is there anymore because I didn't see it and I rode everything a few weeks ago. Or at least I think I did. Here is what I remember from the ride....

I just know that you had at least three, probably four, people in a car that went along a track. I don't think it was fast or anything, but I just remember at the end, everyone in your car pressed a button for like underwater, in space or something else and that was how you 'finished' the ride. Does this sound at all familiar? Or am I going crazy?

That was Horizons...my favorite ride which got replaced by Mission Space.

That's an easy one. You're talking about the old "Horisons", where Mission Space is now located in a new building.

I do miss that ride!

anyone have a link to show pics of the ride, i remember part of it and i remember that i liked it, but i don't recall doing it since 1994 (two trips ago, last trip was dec 2001)

I used to love the smell of oranges on Horizons.

When DH and first went to WDW back in the 80's...prechildren....that was our favorite ride....ahh..the good ol' days.

Horizons was a great old attraction. It's really sad that they replaced such a gem with a loser like Mission Space.

Awww I liked Horizons...althought I am looking forward to Mission: SPACE. I always used to wonder what it was like to travel in space....so I hope I'll like it!

I really like Mission Space, but I do wish they'd just put it elsewhere rather than taking down Horizons.

I have to agree with Shannon. My favorite part of the ride was smelling the oranges..it was one of those moments were you thought "yep..I'm def in disney" = )

I miss it...used to work there. I got to smell oranges every day. I wish they didn't tear it down.

Ironically, the three rides I used to work at are all closed or gone...World of Motion, Horizons and Body Wars. Maybe its me?

That one was World of Motion.

Anyway, Horizons was my favorite Disney ride probably ever, until it got torn down...rumors of a sinkhole kept spreading as to why they finally closed it.

Dont' even get me started on Mission:Space being the replacement and the difference between the two...

Horizons was my favorite ride in Epcot. I also loved WoM and am pretty ticked about it being replaced too. IMO, TT and M:S just can't compare. As much as Epcot is still my favorite Disney park, it just isn't what it was 20 years ago. I thought it was the coolest place I'd ever visited.

If it ain't broke don't fix it(and if it IS broke, REFURBISH...don't REPLACE!). It seems Disney doesn't have that opinion when it comes to Future World.

That, my dears, was "Horizons". My favorite ride upon them all. To this day, I can still smell the orange groves. And then this leads me to missing "World of Motion". Now I must go cry.

The best thing about "Horizons" was the choose your own ending effect. I never did get to try them all.
