Anyone recognize this Thomas the Tank Engine Toy?

I actually got to go to a few yard sales this AM alone on the way to pick up DD14 from a sleepover and I picked up a Thomas toy for DS11months.

I thought it was a battery operated toy that made noise but once I got it home I realized that it doesn't "do" anything and it looks like it may be a piece of another toy or set. Anyone know what this toy goes to?

The toy has a handle lever that goes back and forth and a gear shift that goes back and forth and the Thomas face pushes in. There is a velcro strap on the back to attach it to something.

I paid a whopping $1 for it and Mason loves it so I definitely got my money's worth but I'm curious what it originally did.

I wonder if the velcro was to attach it to your playpen or crib so the child could play with it while in there. I love Thomas the Tank Engine. When my son was little we had all the videos.

If the strap goes underneath the "toy", then it looks like something that my son had and it attaches to the computer keyboard and works with a Thomas computer game. Hope that helps

Tha'ts exactly what I was going to say! I just pulled ours out and that's what it is. It comes with a computer game. You strap it on the keyboard and the kids get to operate Thomas. My son LOVED this game when he was younger.
