I was just wondering if it was possible to substitute any other dessert for the Tiramasu? My DH does not like it. Also, is it one flatbread per table? Which flatbread is the best? Thanks!

Hi Two Ears.
Is there any chance that you would want to change your restaurant? I have read that many people like Mama's (pleaes don't be upset Mama's fans) but on our last trip in Feb. we were VERY disappointed by the meal and the service we received for our Fantasmic Dinner. The choices were limited and perhaps we made a bad choice- both adults got the filet mignon and the child got chicken fingers. We couldn't eat any of the entrees at all.
About the flat bread- It was probably the best thing about the meal. You get one per table. We had the three cheese and thank goodness we enjoyed that.
We didn't feel that the meal was worth the cost. Thankfully Fantasmic was!
We are booking for the next trip at Hollywood and Vine, hopefully better food and service this time 'round.:Pinkbounc

Filet Mignon - at an Italian restaurant? I hope they give you better choices than that! I can see why you were disappointed. That's too bad. The Italian food at Mama Melrose's is wonderful!! It's our favorite place to eat at MGM!

Sorry, I can't answer any of your questions about FDP, because we've never done it - all I can say is that the food/atmosphere are very good! :)

KDawnLily, we did the Brown Derby 2 years ago and enjoyed it, but this trip we are going with other family members and they wanted to go here. DH doesn't like buffets. Sorry about your experience.

I was thinking about our experience there and it was probably our own choices in the menu that made the experience less than satisfactory. My little one is picky and the others are HUNGRY.. the buffet is prob. the best choice for us.
Thanks, I may even give Mama's a second go this next time around.

So did you have the Tiramasu? If you can't substitute it for something else I may just have to eat two!!!!!!!!!!:D

I think you can get ice cream instead. I also don't like Tiramasu..
Enjoy.
