Anyone rebooking park reservations now that your ticket changed to AP?

Curious if anyone is going back and canceling their park reservations and re-booking them under the AP choice now? I remember reading in the past that if you booked your park reservation with a ticket only and then upgraded to an AP, once you swiped it erased all of your park reservations because your ticket had changed. Is that still occurring?
When I book today the cast member said everything should transfer over and I wouldn’t have to rebook them. I’m just checking to make sure that is correct information.

My park passes did not disappear when I bought my AP and cancelled my tickets. I am not sure if they would have disappeared if I had cancelled my tickets BEFORE linking my new AP, though.

I had my DAS Pass with my (2) advance park selections on my park reservations. When they switch my tickets (4 day Park hopper plus) to the Disney AP. It did not touch my park reservations or my DAS Pass stuff.

We did. We had a room-only reservation for CSR for August under the public 25% room discount. Yesterday I called to upgrade our tickets to APs, and today I called to apply the AP 35% room discount to our existing reservation. At no point did we lose our existing park reservations, or even our already completed online check-in. In fact I asked the ticketing CM yesterday about that, and she said even if the system deleted our park reservations, she would have redone them for us before the call ended. YMMV of course.

If you don’t have other tickets left in your account, it may not be a problem. We have APs, plus old non-expiring multi day tickets. We have to be careful to match up our AP with the days we are going to avoid the other tickets from being inadvertently used by the system.

We lost ours so I reserved them again yesterday. It's definitely something to check. Just FYI in case someone is keeping track - I purchased APs over the phone but for only 3 of our 4 people. Then I added our 3 APs to our account. The CM cancelled our tickets for the package and I purchased a ticket for the 4th person in that order. We lost park reservations for everyone but were able to grab exactly what we had originally.

I did. Cancelled the park hopper reservations and rebooked all 10 days with the new aps.
The parks were available when I wanted them. It seemed like the safer route since I didn't upgrade the tickets that we had.

Same here, to be on the safe side I cancelled and rebooked for our dates in June.

I upgraded existing tickets to AP over the phone. I asked if it would cancel any of our park reservations - she checked and it did indeed happen to cancel several of them. She rebooked them for me right there on the phone.
