We have made the very sad but I am sure responsible decision to go ahead and take advantage of DCL's very generous offer to rebook our 3/21/2020 cruise to Spring Break 2021. I booked the cruise initially with Dreams Unlimited. I have emailed the agent that helped us letting him know of our desire.
Do I also need to call? Call DCL? Or just wait for his reply. I am sure he is overwhelmed. I am just don't know how long to expect to wait!

I am more than happy to call DCL myself but don't want to be on hold for them to not be able to help me. OR maybe they will still be able to? I just want to get this done and move on with our plans since we are still headed to Florida as part of our trip was a few days with my parents.

I would let the travel agent do his job. To me, this is one of the primary reasons to use a TA--so they are the ones who have the wait on the phone, not me! This was invaluable when my 2017 cruise was disrupted by Irma, my TA did all the reshuffling marvelously.

Thanks! I will try and be patient and wait for his reply. And see what pans out over the weekend. I think this might get worse before it gets better.

I emailed my dreams unlimited agent on Friday and I’m interested to know how long it takes for you to hear back from your TA.
He emailed me back last night! Of course now between sending the email Friday to last night we are back on the considering just going ahead with our original 3/21/20 sail date. He said he hasn't had many people at all cancel or rebook. SO maybe this is all media hype?

I told him we are going to think about it a few more days and see what happens. If no more ships get quarantined I might be able to convince my husband we are low risk for quarantine and should go. Thank goodness Disney is allowing such a generous window to decide.

At least I am on his radar now in the event we do go ahead and finalize rebooking. I am so torn.
