I don't get all the hype :confused3 can someone explain it to me?? I'm not a Stephen King fan and have not read many of his books, but this one just struck me as odd, I couldn't even finish it.

Oh, I remember that one - King fan here, and it was one of my favorite! Very interesting situation, having no option to back out. Very horrific on a psychological level, and I thought very well written.

I really liked it too. I :lovestruc Stephen King period but I especially enjoyed his Bachmann books.

It's a Bachman book, and that tells you it's going to be painful and not have a happily-ever-after ending.

I loved it, personally, but I love all the early Bachman books.

But if you didn't make it to the end, you missed the entire point of the story. The end is open to interpretation of course.

There is some talk that it will be made into a movie. I don't see it as very adaptable material though.

I thought it was great, very memorable. I don't usually read Stephen King at all, but my friend and I were training for a half marathon so she insisted I read it.
