Anyone purchased park tickets through Orbitz?

Curious if anyone who has purchased DL park hopper tickets via Orbitz has ever encountered any problems with them? (Such as them not being accepted, etc.)

Also, do you have to go to a ticket booth or can you take them straight to the gate to exchange for a "real" ticket?

Can you basically just tell me how the process works and how it worked for you?

I redeemed my 5 day park hoppers two days ago and had no issues. You do have to go to the ticket booth, but it was a very easy process.

Yes, I exchanged mine at the DLH at check-in over Thanksgiving weekend. No problems at all and super convenient.

I will admit that we purchased tickets through Orbitz for three separate groups of our one larger group of 11 this past Feb. Two of the three groups, no issue exchanging at the ticket booth. But my wife and I had to wait about 15 minutes or so because they were having some kind of problem locating the reservation. We had our printed voucher and ID's, but there was some hangup and it caused a delay. It didn't make a difference because the group held our spot in line while I waited for the tickets, and they did finally come, but I was nervous and if we'd had been in a rush, it would have been disappointing.

Needless to say, I'm guessing it was a bit of an anomaly, and I'd still buy through Orbitz. I actually plan to for our next trip in Feb 2015, just waiting to see if the by Ebates deal (20% back) happens or not.

We exchanged our Orbitz vouchers at check-in at the Paradise Pier Hotel last December and again this December. No problem at all.

Make sure you sign up for ebates and access the Orbitz site through ebates so you you can get cash back.

1) Can you exchange the vouchers for tickets whenever you want? For example, I would like to do this at a ticket booth the night we get in (non park day) so we're ready to line up and get goin' the next morning.

2) To exhange at a hotel, do you have to be a guest? (We are staying offsite at a good neighbor hotel).

1) Yes, I always pick mine up the night before. Just be sure to enter the date you actually want to pick up into Orbitz.
2) You need to be staying at a resort hotel to exchange there.

Ebates is at 7.5%, up from 3.75% a few days ago. Not the 20% you were hoping for but better than last week!

We got them on check in at the Grand in Nov. No issues. We saved about $30 or $40 I believe.

Yup, did it for March 2014 trip and it went super smoothly. Printed out the voucher, presented it at the ticket booth and exchanged it for our ticket which we then went thru the turnstiles with.

It is a paper ticket - last time when I bought the tickets ahead of time I got plastic ones (in a package).

My email arrived within minutes. The first one was the receipt, then about 5 minutes later, the ticket voucher arrived.
