We have flown a number of times with Southwest with our son who is on the spectrum. When we flew to Universal it was just myself, and the two kids. DH was already in Florida for a different business trip, he joined us later. My kids were 15 and 13 and they allowed my 15 year old to board with us. On the way home, my husband boarded with my son and my daughter and I boarded later.
This trip we are flying with my mom, I think it will be one of us boards with Ted and saves the third seat in that row and then the other 2 sit together.
