Anyone planning on visiting DLR during this holiday seasion?

I've got the 1st Mon~Thurs & 2nd Mon~Thurs of Dec. booked at HoJo's just waiting to find out when the CM C~mas parties are.

I can't wait!

I have seen people mention the CM's Christmas parties before. Is this something that the regular public can be a part of? What is special about them? Please let me know, because it sounds like it could be really fun!

Thanks!

We are heading across the pond for a visit to DL from 14-17 December....can't wait :yay:

Can someone tell me whether or not the fireworks are at more regular intervals during december - 14 is a Sunday and was afraid we might miss them..... :confused3

How about christmas parades too?

Nov 30th my b-day! Booked the ent rate at the Hojo :thumbsup2

We are! We'll be there 11/21-26. DD and DS have their bday on 11/23 so we'll celebrate in the 'land. I've heard such great things about DL's holiday decorations- can't wait to see them all. We were there 2 years ago in early nov and saw the tree go up, but that was it.

I just wish they'd post the Nov hours so I could get to some real planning!

We have been several times in October and find it to be least crowded with relatively nice weather.
But we have also been in early December and the week leading up to Christmas. Early Dec. was great, we are homeschoolers so we went midweek and there were no major crowds, but the christmas party gala stuff was all running. The week before christmas was pretty crowded.

We are going in December for the first time for two weeks, 6-19. Wow, I cant believe I'm going to say this but after that long we just might be sick of DLR, no I don't think thats possible. This will be the babies first tip and she will get to celebrate her 1st b-day at DL on the 12th. I cant wait it will be such a magical time being Christmas and all.

Oh, definitely! I can never miss Disneyland when it's decorate so beautifully for Christmas. It gets me all teary-eyed because I love Christmas, it is my absolute favorite holiday. I can honestly say it's not about the presents, I just get this feeling being with my family while listening to Christmas Classics or watching It's a Wonderful Life.:cloud9:

Ok, done being nostalgic

I'm planning for November, my birthday month. I plan on going with my aunt and little cousins (they'll be 8 and 6) to co-celebrate our birthdays and holiday season.:cool1:

I see there is a Mickeys Very Merry Christmas at WDW is there one at DLR? If so do you have to get tickets for it like Mickeys Halloween Treat?

The CM parties are only for the Cast Members. It's their employee Christmas party. It takes place the first Mon and Tues of December and DL closes at 6 pm so the CMs can have the park to themselves.

DLR does not have a MVMC party. The only ticketed event they have during the holiday season is the Candlelight Processional.

 Awww, now you're just sucking up! ;) Thanks Cristabel! :goodvibes

:lmao:I don't suck up. I tell you the truth, even if it's not very nice.
My older sister always says "You're a bold kid, Cristabel, a bold kid". LOL
It's one of my God-given gifts:rotfl2:

Thx, can you tell me more about what the Candlelight Processional is (rides open, etc.) and when it is?
Thanks in advance,
