Anyone planning on February 2008 ?? Lets talk!!!

Us as well.

So far, we're only in the early planning stages, and I have only one reservation: for dinner at Artist Point, on Feb. 5th. It will be mine and my husband's 25th anniversary that evening. We'll have our daughter with us, she'll be 12 then. Any ideas on what we can do with her while we're at dinner, short of having her stay alone in the room with her own meal from room service?

It looks like the Wilderness Lodge has a childcare center, as does the Dolphin. Or you can get an in-room sitter.

Im also in the super early planning stages, as I have a trip in - TWENTY THREE DAYS to concentrate on...

The instant I am back ADR's, reservations, etc etc will comense.

Well, count me in..although we are arriving on Feb 29th..leap year..lol!! We just got back so its so nice to know the next trip is planned Just me and DD10 for her bday..(again..last yr at POP) long weekend, in IL we have this great holiday called Pulaski Day...plus she has Fri off..so she wont even miss any school...just 4 fun days

I've posted a thread about early February, but I have gotten no replies so far. Just wondering if anyone could give me an idea about what the weather will be like in early Feb. Last time we started our trip in mid Feb. and it was quite nice. I am trying to avoid Presidents Week crowds this time, knowing about Mardis Gras but hoping the crowds will be lighter, also hoping for "some" pool weather.

Thanks for the input. My husband is worried since I booked earlier this time about the weather. He's hoping for more down time by the pool this vacation...he thinks since the girls are older that they'll want to hang by the pool more...we'll see.

I have a girls trip planned Feb5-11 with a college friend. Thought we'd be staying in a value or moderate, but she said she always dreamed of staying at the Poly and did I want to splurge?!?! No need to twist this Poly girl's arm! It's my favorite place to stay, and I can't wait to show her all around. How nice to be splitting those costs with someone too!
