Annual Winter holiday Feb16-Mar22

Since we had to cancel our Christmas trip we rescheduled to Feb 8-11th. Hoping for a nice low crowd visit. Any of you normally use Feb as your trip time to tell me how it is?

I love it! Less crowds, shorter lines, it's not burning hot outside. The only "bad" thing (not REALLY bad) is that you have to pack more clothes because there is no way to really know what the weather is going to do. We just pack a lot of layers. I didn't bother bringing shorts. Only capri pants and jeans. Then a variety of shirts...short sleeve, long sleeve, sweater jacket, and a jacket.

Blueyed Girl has it right, we do the same things. I just have a few things to add. We have found a few times in Feb. we had to ask a C.M. if certain rides were running because there's no line, usually we only wait 10-15 minutes to get on rides. For the clothing issues we usually have a sweatshrit on in the morning a taking it off by 10:30 a.m.. You'll love it.

Yep we live in northern florida and I am used to that. Actually we are two hours north so a little bit cooler here. Like yesterday here was in the 70's and this morning it is 26 with high of 64. Crazy

I am glad it is a low travel time it is hard with a 2 year old sometimes in the lines. She doesn't understand the stand and wait thing yet. LOL Thanks guys!

Oh yes, this is why DS didn't ride Dumbo. The line gave him too much time to think about it and scare himself. Other than that, we didn't really wait in any lines.

WE'll be staying at the POP from Feb 1st-7th! I can't wait! So I hear the crowds are pretty light during this time, this is true, isn't it?

I am so glad to hear this that the crowds are light. We have had a very stressful month and one coming up with our business. It will be nice to look forward to a slower trip with a 2 year old that maybe we can relax a bit also.

Don't know how I missed this thread. We are headed to the World on Feb. 1 through Feb. 9. We too are looking forward to hopefully low crowds and decent weather. Being from South Louisiana..the unpredictable weather is nothing new..so we are prepared. I thought I would have seen more Louisiana posters on here. Oh well...I have seen them elsewhere. I have heard that the first week of Feb. will have a sea of purple and gold. Can't wait.

We'll be at Fort Wilderness from 2/2 - 2/12....usually go in January but we were hoping that one month later may make some difference - it was very cold last time. Plus it gives us a longer break between getting to WDW & Christmas. Can't Wait....have changed ADRs three times now...can tell we're getting close

Quick trip to CR Feb. 15-19 Can't wait hope it is as warm as it is now. Feb. can be unpredictable, but when warm it is very pleasant.

We'll be there Feb 10th to 16th @ OKW - nine of us in 3 bedroom villa, we also will be attending the Pirates and Princess Party, Were booked for dining @ LeCellar, Aloha dinner, Capt. Jacks, Sci-fi dinner, Rose and Crown, For most of this group it will be thier first visit.

ohh I just can't wait we leave in exactly 2 weeks in Feb 1st! We'll be staying until the 7th at the POP and we're doing the DDP for the first time, I'm so excited!

Woohoo! Feb 3-11th and can't wait. Although I have no idea where we'll be staying Got the plane tickets and rental car but having problems w/ a hotel. Booked at CBR 3-7th and Dolphin 7-11th but hoping DVC points will come trough. Also calling 4 times a day to get a cancelation at WL. It's going to be busy, almost all of WDW is booked
