Anyone planning for 2014??

Yes!! We are planning on June 2014. We just got back last Monday from our first time in October. We had a blast but we just seem to like summer time better. This will be our 1st trip by ourselves just my little family!! Every other trip except our Disneymoon in 1998 we have brought other families and family members. Sooo excited to be just us!

I really want to go in January of 2014 around second or third week, my husband and I are going for the first time this December alone. I wanted to take our two boys. Nicholas will almost be three in February and Jordan will be turning two in June. I want to take them while their still free, but not sure if they will enjoy themselves.

We took our DD to the world for the first time when she was only 16 months old, sometimes she was overwhelmed but she would just get in the stroller and chill out when that happened. Overall she had such an amazing time and LOVED everything she saw, every character, every ride, etc. We went back again in 2011 with our DD who was now 6 and she had such a new and more magical experience than she did the first time, also for the first time we brought our 3 (almost 4) year old DS and he LOVED it, he still talks about the rides and asks when we can go eat at Chef Mickey's again all the time. We think he has some sensory issues and he balked at going into some of the darker rides and theaters, like Pirates of the Caribbean and One Man's Dream. But he went on Test Track, Splash Mountain and Soarin. I think that kids of all ages will have a great time at Disney. We also made sure one of us went back to the resort each afternoon to put him down for a nap and just to let him escape the constant stimulation that is Disney. Really looking forward to this trip when ourDD will be 8 and our DS will be 6 to see what kind of magic they experience this time.

Yes! We were still on our trip in September when we planned to come back. We'll be skipping next year but September 2014 we are there!

We are looking at Mardi Gras 2014, first week of March. Its not Presidents week just not sure what college spring breaks might play into the crowd levels. My son would be 10 at the time and his 3rd trip, he wants to go to Universal. My hubby and I want Disney.
Now research and the look out for coupons and deals... Are there particular months at get more coupons/savings than others... Hoping March is a good one!

How are eveyone's plans going? I am seeing so many *friends* (FB) going to Disney ~ makes it hard for me to wait! Oh well, pretty soon I will at least be able to say "I am going to Dinsey NEXT year!"

We still don't have our dates picked. I'm pretty sure it will be once school gets out for the summer (which will be a couple of days before Memorial day). We almost went that week on our last trip, but changed it. From what I remember, people said the holiday (memoiral day) didn't impact crowds too much ~ besides the week-end ~ anyone been during that time know for sure? We can always push it back until after, I am just so worried about the heat. We live in AL, so are used to it, but it still can be pretty miserable. Spring break isn't ruled out, it just would depend on when ours falls (ie NOT right before/after EAster). Also, my husband and oldest might do a day or two at Universal, and we want to do Seaworld this trip as well, so we are thinking longer than a week ~ maybe 10 days. Who knows, maybe we will even do a day at the beach, too!

I am still researching places to stay...a little unsure about staying off-site, but I KNOW we would be much happier in a 2 bedroom if we plan on staying longer than a week. I'm not really worried about a kitchen, but having a seperate room would be nice. So unless a great deal comes out, then we will probably be off-site. I've been looking at Wyndham Bonnet Creek, Caribe Resort, Sheraton Vistana, and the other Sheraton Vistana ~ villages, I believe. I'd love any input on that as well!! Pretty much the only thing we really want would be 2 bedrooms and a pool with a slide

Oh, and I"ll add, we will have our own car, but would love to be as close to Disney as possible! I *think* WBC would be the closest ~ but I'm still not sold on it, and I hate that the pirate (?) pool slide has a height requirement (so unless we have a major growth spurt), none of my gilrs will get to do it.

My family, ME 32, DH 32, DS 16, DS 13, are planning to be there some time between the week after Thanksgiving & first or second week of December. I have to book it around a home game for the Tampa bay Buccaneers (my DH & DS'S are HUGE fans & being from Cali we have not been able to go to Raymond James Stadium before).

If everything works out, we'll be heading back in November 2014. It seems so far away! I decided though that I want to try a trip where we can attend MNSSHP and MVMCP. We love trick or treating but I have been anxious to return to see the Christmas decorations so I've convinced my husband that I'll skip 2013 if we can have this trip the following year.
Although I'm a bit nervous about taking DD out of school (she'll be in 1st grade then) but I think a week will be ok. My big excitment - it will be a trip without diaper changes since DS will be 4!!

No diapers is something to celebebrate I am hoping that our next trip will be diaper free, too, lol!

It certainly is! I will be celebrating as soon as I can get him trained – the vacation fund will grow faster when I don’t have to buy diapers!

DH just told me earlier today that he wants to do the Halloween/Christmas split week and confirmed 2014. I've already told my TA to be ready to book come July 2013 for our trip in 2014!

We are leaving for WDW tomorrow, but we're already planning on our next magical trip for April 2014! We love to camp so we'll stay at Fort Wilderness. We stayed there in March 2005 and June 2010! We have friends that want to go with us - they've never camped at Fort Wilderness before!

We are leaving tomorrow and for the first time since our Disneymoon, it's just me and the DH!! We are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary!! I am SO excited!! And now we're planning on going back in April 2014!

We are planning on a trip in April 2014. Hoping to fit a 2 week trip in...but it will probably end up being 11-12 days due to school. I think my middle schoolers will only be able to handle 3 days off so we'll plan to extend their Spring vacation.

Originally I was thinking of a stay at POR, but I've been doing some research and I've seen some really nice, cheap condos that I really like. Good thing I have time to think about it!

The best part about this trip is that it will be a surprise for my kids. We last went in 2011 and they keep saying they want to go back. Last time we told them about the trip 5 months ahead of time and it was torture for them to wait. Of course, this time it will be torture for me to wait!!

Oh, don't start a thread, yet!! This one is soooo slow, and we don't know our dates yet. I won't have anyone to whine about how long it is until my trip if you leave, lol!
