I am considering subscribing to savings angel. It costs about $5 per week. Basically, it matches coupons to sales and is very efficient. Please share your thoughts! Any subscribers out there?

I've been a member for years. I have considered cancelling my membership before, but the two things that stop me are: the shopping lists w/ the coupons matched up to the ads and the forums. I find these invaluable.

I figure as long as I save at least $20 a month, then the membership has paid for itself.

I'm not a subscriber and I wouldn't suggest paying for that kind of service unless there's more to it than what you described because that's easy to find for free. www.couponmom.com has very easy to read alphabetical lists matching store ads with coupons along with links to printable coupons for sale items for free. You can also usually google your store name and find a blog for it that also matches coupons to sales.

I am a member of SavingsAngel and I love it.

Couponmom is nice but there are many reasons I prefer SavingsAngel.

One reason is that they update daily. If new coupons arrive, the lists are updated!

I've been a member for about 4 years now and it has been worth it in time and money savings.

I don't know anything about savings angel. I visit weusecoupons and hotcouponworld for early ad postings and coupon match-ups. Both are free.

I did savings angel for 3 years. I loved it!!!! I had such a nice stockpile that I got lazy, thought I could do just as well on my own for free over the winter. Not even close!

I am joining back up again this fall. The free sites I use didnt have all the coupons or all the deals. Nothing beat savings angel! (I am in the Michigan area, thats how I started so early with them.) And if you have a question the forum people are so helpful and nice.

How does this work? I looked into signing up with the other paid one, but there weren't enough stores around here (rural area) for it to be worth it.

Hi Shmily1, You might want to look @ our stores to see if they match up with yours first: savingsangel.com/it_works.php

I notice you are in Georgia. If you have Publix near you, you will be = :woohoo:. It's one of the best stores in the country for what we do - and the way we create our matchups. The BOGOs are awesome - so a really big coupon database is helpful. We currently have over 2,500.

I want to be careful not to diss (as opposed to dis) other sites. There are many helpful webmasters and bloggers who are all fine for different folks - depending on what their needs are.

Thx, budbeerlady! :cloud9:

Thanks for the information. There is no Publix closer than 40 miles but sometimes I go there anyway just to catch the good sales.

When I sign up, would I pick what stores I wanted to see information from or is it right there for me to look at all of them? Do I check it often or are emails sent for the stores I select? Sorry to be so full of questions, but I'm just trying to understand so I do it right.

Yep - you get all the stores. This is helpful for those who travel - particularly to Central Florida. ;)

Make sure to visit with an angel mentor via live chat - or request a phone call when you enroll and she can assist you in getting started - and answer all the questions. The SavingsAngel academy will also REALLY help.
