Anyone own both BWV and BCV?

We own at both the BCV and BWV. We like BCV for our May trips and BWV for our Dec. trips
We also own at OKW and Vero.

I bought BWV because that was what was available at the time I found out about DVC. I had really wanted OKW (it had just sold out) and was kind of disappointed, but needless to say we love BWV. I added BCV when it became available and couldn't resist the SSR deal. We haven't stayed at SSR yet but look forward to it. We love having the choices.

i own 200 at Bw and 200 at the BCV.....both June use years.....i wish i had all BW points but they were sold out when i bought bcv....if anyone wants to swap 200 bcv points for 200 bw points for june use year i would be willing to swap points....i dont think that is the purpose of this thread but maybe someone out there would prefer all points at the bcv....

I have June UY also. I have 230 BWV, 200 BCV, and now 120 SSR. I have thought about doing the same thing because I'm not into the pool thing so that somewhat dilutes the value of BCV to me personally. I decided against it because of the flexibility of future options.

We haven't closed yet. But once we do, I may be interested in an occasional swap. Are you looking for a permanent solution, or what?

BCV seems like a better fit for our family...but we are buying sight unseen so I really don't know yet.

I will save your name away...maybe we can work something out in the future.

i would like to swap permanently but would not be opposed to swapping if the points were available because i prefer to stay at the bw everytime we go...last year we did 4 nights at bw and 3 at bcv and i realized i am just a simple person and the bw satsify all our needs when we are there....i booked for my entire family and a friends family and we all had to move in the middle of vacation and i just didnt like doing that...thanks

We bought at BWV in 1999 and were a bit conservative in the number of points we thought we'd use (originally bought 170). We realized quickly that we needed more, but by that time BWV was sold out. So we went on the waitlist. But when we got a call from DVC that points were available....we went a different way. We bought a small add-on at BWV of 30 points and 200 at BCV for a total of 400 points which is about enough for us.

We like being able to alternate resorts and we love both resorts. My girls are 17, 15 and 6 now and they each love both resorts - but for different reasons. I like the flexibility it gives us and I like that if I need to I can rent my points at either resort very easily. If I bank and borrow I can stay 7-10 days at Easter every two years and that's our plan. We've also done weeks in July and August...but we really like Easter.

We gave up our reservations (banked and rented the points) this year to visit relatives and colleges in CA and AZ......very, very reluctantly. I think we're all going thru withdrawal right now!

If in the end you'd like to "swap" points - you can do so thru the rent/trade board.

We own at both. We used to be able to pool hop to SAB from the BWV. When it was announced that there would be no more pool hopping there, we did a couple of pre-sale contracts at the BCV so we could get our SAB fix every couple of years. We have found though that the kids like Community Hall more than SAB overall so we usually stay at the BWV.
