anyone on the wonder 11/21/04?

Welcome aboard Dlspell !!:wave2: I will add you to our tag your it list. From what I understand some people are going to try and meet at scoops ice cream after the boat drill then meet up with people at the sailaway party. It will be easier to look for people if you have the mickey heads. I might even try to find some people in the terminal. We are getting very excited at this end !!:Pinkbounc :bounce: Tina

LInda- congrats on getting your docs!

Disneypoly- sending some pixie dust your way .:wizard: Maybe they'll come tomorrow.

Thanks for the pixie dust!!!!princess:

I rec'd an e-mail from TA today and said that they sent documents out today and I should receive them on Monday:Pinkbounc

Thanks for the thoughts on Blue Lagoon.

Is anyone from the Del/NJ/Phila area? I heard on a WPVI commerical today that Karen Rogers (newscaster) will be reporting from the Wonder at the Thanksgiving Day Parade. I'm wondering if she'll be on our cruise, as the parade airs 8:30 - 12:30 p.m. and since we will just be disembarking that morning, and the next cruise passengers won't be boarding until noon, I "wonder" if she'll be taping segments on our cruise?????

Did anyone else see this commercial or know any more info?

Thanks!

OK, I got the docs but where is the Bahama's Immigration form? I don't see it in there.

Welcome aboard dlspell!!! Can't wait to tag you. Hope you can make a meet.

Shelly - just think by the time soccer is done this weekend it will be almost time to go.

On another note - I had school conferences tonight for both dd & ds and both were great. Neither teacher is concerned with them missing time because they are both doing great. Doesn't always go that way so it was a really nice.

Hope all have a good night.

Hi ya'll

Been lurking for a while just reading and making lists and such. I think I gave you the wrong deck We're on deck 6 not 5. The room number starts with a 6, so that's deck 6 right? (Can you tell it's our first cruise?)
Sorry, my fault. We're definitely on for the tag. I need to get my green mickey paint chip too.

My DD's, 12 and 10 are really excited and the 10 year old is especially interested in meeting up with all of the kids from the board. My 12 year old is pretty shy for a while but will warm up nicely.

We don't have any Doc's yet, But the land/sea reservations were made by my folks and I think they have them. We're flying in from Balto to Orlando Nov 17th and headed to Animal Kingdom Lodge and the parks first thing Thursday.

Got my door signs all set. Made a set for my folks too.

Loved the link to the lists of what to bring, that was a great help. Lots of cool ideas. Thanks for that.
See you all soon

Dave(skier)

Hi Dave!

I too have a shy DD (12) -- maybe they'll hit it off. She is so excited to sail. She has a brother who is 11, so she'll have someone to join her in the club, but I'm sure she would love to meet a new friend.

Hope to see you soon!

Maureen

OK. I think I'm the only one who hasn't officially gotten their docs, or have been notified. I'm such a worrywart

Oh well. Tomorrow I'm getting our suitcases out and am going to start packing the things I know we won't wear within the next week and a half.

Can't wait!

zack&alexmom - I seem to be missing the same form from the documents.

Someone earlier asked about sporting events being broadcast. I saw in the Magical Cruise Guide that they do have ESPN and ESPN 2 in the staterooms. If those are the channels for your events, then I think you're in luck.

Daveskier - your children will probably warm up quickly with all of the ongoing activities. It's nice that we already have a built in group of friends!

O.k I tried to edit the list with everyones first name next to there deck number. How many times have you copied the list so far? :teeth: Maybe I will sneak another mickey head into the game since we have so many people. hmmmm:scratchin Tina

Hello Everyone........I didn't get that form for the bahamas either. We will get one at the port. I made my wedding wishes door sign for door. I am trying to figure out how to get a scripto up on door to stay. That was an awesome idea that I stole. I think from Linda.:teeth:

There was a problem with my dress tonight. Not fitting the way it's suppose to. I am not freaking out yet. I am putting up my inside Christmas decorations this weekend. So they are done and I can enjoy the holidays when I get back. Chuck thinks I am nuts !! Oh I will start to pack soon.......still checking things off my list. I am also making more lists. I am so good at that.

Time to get some sleep. Happy Friday tomorrow :Pinkbounc :bounce: Tina

We're decorating for Christmas this weekend, too. I won't have time with unpacking and all when we get home. We do this every year and it works out nicely.

Thanks for the list of people.

Shelley: My thoughts exactly !

I just had an idea I would like to share....... Is anyone planning on doing the palo brunch? It is only on the sea day. I was planning on doing it at 11:00 am since we are doing Palo dinner that night. It is part of our wedding package. If people are interested we could link our reserations together? There is a fee. I think 10.00 per person. Not sure. No kids allowed. I do get concierge service with my wedding package who will be taking care of all of my reservations. So I will meet with this person on the first day of the cruise and hopefully it shouldn't be a problem. If there is an interest I can call the wedding coordinator now to see if I can do this. Tina

Count me and hubby in on the Brunch. We did the dinner last cruise and loved it -- thought we would try the brunch this time. I also feel less guilty leaving the kids -- during the day they have so much to do, but I felt bad leaving them at dinner last time.

Let me know what info you need -- thanks for the offer -- it will be great to share brunch with others!

Maureen

I think that you stole the idea from Shelley but it is a good one. I was going to do brunch also and I think it would be great to get together and celebrate. I am trying to figure out what night to eat at Palo. I don't know if I want to eat at Palo on the last night because I think the kids might want to have dinner with us that night. I'm thinking about skipping Parrot Cay for dinner. What is everybody else doing?

Linda
:Pinkbounc :bounce:  princess:

Well, I figured we'd have Parrot Cay twice anyway and so we might skip a night there. I've read where families with the youngest 7-10 get this rotation. I wish we knew our rotation now. It would make a difference in what I wore on boarding day and what I packed in my carry on bag. Guess I'm not one for surprises. I'm more of a planner. I can't commit to the Palo brunch until I see if my 9 year old wants to be in the club for his age and then it will probably be too late to get reservations.

Let me this if I can explain this.......... Palo's for us was supposed to be only on wedding day. Because kids can't go we said no way. They are very much apart of all of this and we wanted to have dinner with them. So we worked out a dining rotation out with Disney already............that gives us Tritons on our wedding day because it's a little bit more fancy. Our last night of cruise is Palo's because that would be 2nd time for AP. Kids would be having dinner with grandma. Chuck and I woould get our romantic dinner alone. I don't mind having Palo's twice in one day. As far as you leaving your kids alone...........They could eat with the other kids in the club for lunch or dinner. Parrot Cay is the most casual place. I hope this makes sense. Tina
