Anyone on here play Candy Crush?

Yes, I asked about them a couple pages back and NO ONE who is levels ahead answered my question as to whether they are a permanent item. I guess a lot of people on this thread don't really read each other's posts. :confused3

The time bombs stayed consistently for about 10 games, then come & go. Wait till you get to the levels where the time bombs are there WITH the chocolate. :headache: :headache: :headache:
The bombs do pop in and out as you go up levels. I'm now on level 191 (after defeating the dreaded 181) and there are bombs locked in cages under brown frosting (I forget what they are called). I have been within one lousy jelly of winning that level 2-3 times now.

The key to the bombs is to take care of them ASAP and then move on to the main thing you're supposed to do. Knock them out as soon as you can because if you wait you may not have the right color to do it before it blows.

in the higher levels the bombs just keep reappearing :thumbsup2 makes for some quick level fails!!!

440 is full of bombs, and it sucks!

I've been playing this one for about a week. I've only cleared all of the bombs a few times, but the goal of the level is to clear all of the jelly, which is the entire top half. Those stupid tornados always land where I don't want them to land. So frustrating! I am too far to play on the mobile version, so I can only play it on the laptop. Drives me crazy! :rotfl:

NOOOO!!!

Just hit it yesterday! I blew through levels 101 and 102 without a problem. Now I'm at level 103. DH and I have both been playing it on his iPad. He'll most likely pass it first as he's usually good at getting levels like this one!

Stuck on level 65 for weeks now. I think it's impossible!

Hang in there. It took DH and I a bit to get it. I don't remember if I got fed up and used a lollipop to get the last three I had on that level or if it was on another one. Either way, we finally got passed it.

A hint that has helped me get past some of the harder levels: If I can't easily match a speckled color bomb with a stripe or a special order color, I match it against a candy piece that has the most colors on the board. This frees up a lot of spaces on the board and it sometimes makes it easier to make combinations or get more of the special order color. I am on level 399 and this hint has helped me get by some really stubborn levels.

Hope this helps!

That's how I did it with Bejeweled when I was playing it on Pop Cap before they changed their web site and the list of games that can be played online.

I'm on level 240 now. There are egg shaped candies with ? Marks on them. Sometimes they're good (chocolate ball) and sometimes they're bad( bombs). Sometimes after a trigger of multiple candies, there will be one that has a "check mark" on it. I've never been able to combine it with anything. Anyone know what the check mark does? I'm not even sure if it's good or bad.

The check marks are good. They give you whatever you're trying to get. In the beginning they gave me the chocolate sprinkle balls. On a later level when I was trying to get X amount of striped candies, it gave me all stripes.

My DBF made fun of me when I first started playing. He called me an addict.
The next week he started.
Now he plays more than me.
I have to take his smart phone away just to get some attention.

I was actually asking about the Time Bombs, not the Chocolate. I hate, Hate, HATE those! I'm working to get a striped candy, but instead, I have to deal with a Time Bomb instead which ruins lining up 4 for a striped candy elsewhere. :badpc: But, thanks to you & Helene for answering. :goodvibes

Oh sorry! Yeah, time bombs don't go away but I don't think they appear as frequently in levels as chocolate does. Definitely not every single level! :thumbsup2

Just wait for it. . .

There will come a time when you get a good rhythm going. . . you're making your striped & wrapped candy really easily. . . and suddenly a Time Bomb shows up that has NO matching color anywhere around it. You scramble, wasting precious moves to match it and BANG! End of Game. And it happens way too many times, like 20 moves into a game.

They aren't so complicated as they are annoying. :headache: You get rid of one bomb and then another one appears on the other side of the board. You waste moves dealing with them so you don't make the goal to win.

Thank you! I was feeling a bit incompetant. :rotfl:

I'm up to level 140 but I'm needing some friends to unlock my ticket into the next section. Apparantly, not too many of my friends have gotten addicted to the Crush yet and I'm just too danged cheap to keep buying these freakin credits. :(

While I'm patiently waiting for someone to bail me out, I'm going through the past levels that I've gotten only one star. I WILL get all three stars on every level... I WILL!! :dance3:

I'm stuck on level 140 now. :( There are no Time Bombs, no Chocolate. But, they want you to collect so many of 3 different colors that it is nearly impossible unless you make striped, wrapped candies or chocolate sprinkle balls with each move. :headache: And it's hard to try to get two striped or a striped and a wrapped next to each other.

As for getting more "Friends," my Facebook account is ONLY used for Candy Crush. I never got into Facebook for anything else. I went to a Candy Crush forum once and made a few "Friends there. Then found a bunch of people whose profile pic is a Candy Crush pic. This signals to the rest of us that they are Candy Crushers, and YES, invite them to be "Friends." They need Friends too, to gift lives or unlock levels.

So I changed my Profile pic to a Candy Crush chocolate ball, invited several people who have Candy Crush pics, while others invited me to be their Friends once they saw my profile pic. I now have about 400 "Friends." I don't know any of them, but every time I play, I always have people automatically gifting me Lives or I get the next section unlocked within 10 minutes of "Asking Friends" to help me unlock the section. All I have to do now when I run out of Lives is to refresh my page and someone has gifted me a Life without asking. (Or I asked hours ago, and people are only now coming on line to gift me a Life.) Usually, the automated system has already asked people if they want to help give me a Life. So I usually have about 6-10 people gifting me with Lives each time I refresh my page.

I just wish the computer version would save all those extra Lives for me. I read the mobile app does. What a waste I only get 5 Lives when 10 people gifted me. Once in a while, I actually have to ask for Lives. When that happens, there is a tab to check to only ask from fellow Candy Crush players. So there is a way to NOT bother non-Candy Crush (real life) friends with requests for Lives and unlocking. :thumbsup2

The best part is, I usually play late at night before going to sleep. If I am out of lives, I click on the players with Asian/Middle Eastern names or names from the other side of the world where it's daytime. I figure they are up and maybe online, to gift me a life. It has worked each time. :woohoo: It's great having so many "Friends" that I don't even know on FB, round the clock.

The mobile app does save them! Makes it easy to play for hours when I have 20 lives waiting for me popcorn::

Wow! :worship: You have the mobile app and <sigh!> I have to make "Friends" with complete strangers halfway around the world to get Lives. :upsidedow

Anyway, it worked again! I finally got past Level 140 and was waiting for "Friends" to help me unlock the next section. Got all 3 tickets in 10 minutes again. :woohoo:

Finally made it past 350. That level was so bad I almost paid. It was even more frustrating watching everyone else shoot right past me while I just couldn't get it.

Level 325 .... What's the trick? It looks so easy to beat but I'm just stuck. I can't figure out which moves do the best on that level.

Omg I hate level 265. This could finally be the one that breaks my addiction.

I tried but I didn't see how it was much fun.

I like playing Bejeweled on Zen Mode...:)
