Anyone NOT spend any money on Black Friday

It was a no spend day at my house!

Didn't spend any money, but still got a cute hallmark ornament. Because I bought ornaments on their two "premiere" weekends I got a coupon in the mail for a freebie snowman ornament. Of course, it wasn't redeemable until beginning today. He looked cute, so I went late this afternoon (after the madness died down) and picked it up. So I went out, but didn't spend any money!

No Black Friday spending, but I spent $45 on our Christmas tree. We are day after Thanksgiving decorators!

Then, because I was so tired from putting up decorations all day, we hit McDonald's for dinner - so another $12 there :

It was all budgetted though, so it was all good!

I bought nothing today. DH bought bread at the bread outlet and brought home 6 donuts. Other than that, no spending here.

I have a home-based online business, and my printer was nearly dead. So I did go to Staples and got a half-off laserjet printer. However, it was a business expense, not a personal on!

We bought our girls a ping-pong table @ Benny's last month for $125 on sale for Christmas.... an almost identical one was on sale @ Wal-Mart today for $67 DH went this morning on his way into work and bought the $67 one and then returned the $125 one to Benny's

We spent $500 getting our furnace fixed does that count? Our furnace went out wednesday night so we didn't have any heat for thanksgiving. I was OK, because with all the people and the oven on, it stayed at about 72 all day in the house, but my parents still froze!

I spent $11.48 at Kroger - 2 loaves of bread, potatoes & ketchup. We were out of bread, the other two items were low.

I went to WalMart ...just happened to be the one in Porter Ranch, (Los Angeles)CA. where the crazy woman pepper sprayed people over the XBox 360's to pick up a prescription before I went to work.

I didn't go anywhere or purchase anything. But a few items that I had ordered earlier in the week arrived in the mail and by UPS.

And I got my list together for a CVS run this morning. So I did get my shopping fix even though I didn't actually spend any money yesterday.

It was a no-shop day in our household as wellDD and I are going to do some shopping later today but my plan this year is mainly gift cards so I can get all the buying done prior to our trip to WDW

We spent money. My friends and I met and went thrift store shopping and then went out to lunch.

They went to the movies then but i skipped out because I wasn't feeling well and am not quite sick I hate being sick.

But it wasn't BF shopping really.

just the Old navy groupon didn't need a a thing..got my ds a camera for 35.00 at Radio Shack earlier in the week anyway.....
