With July fast approaching, I've read alot of posts from people worrying about long lines for July. Is there anyone not worried about this?

I'm going in July, I've been then before, and I don't seem to have much of an issue. Yeah, it's very crowded, but if you do a little planning, make good use of fastpass, you can avoid the lines.

I know I'm not the only one here who has been to WDW several times and knows where to go and when. Who else isn't afraid of the crowds?

I'm not! I plan on going early and enjoying the pool during the busiest part of the day.

This will be our 5th straight year of going to wdw in july. We make sure we take plenty of water. We have the insulated bottles with shoulder straps. We fill them with ice water when we leave the resort. It is so nice to have a cool drink of water when you need it no matter where you are.

No July chicken here! :teeth: (But I think it helps that we'll be at WDW for 2 weeks--we can take our time and relax/people watch/swim/nap/enjoy a cold beverage :drinking1 without worrying about missing something.) And we were just there last year, and I have a feeling we'll be returning again within a year. We're in a serious Disney-obsession mode right now--can't shake it.
Bring on the :crowded: !

I'm not worried either. I've done it before and I am used to the Summer crowds at Disneyland. The Summer crowds at WDW are a cakewalk compared to the Summer Crowds at Disneyland. Its all a matter of planning and being prepared for both the crowds and the heat. Don't plan for either and you'll likely be miserable but plan for both and you should have a great time :thumbsup2

Another July Family here! The way we see it, it is what it is and we just kinda hang in there. I would rather be hot and in a crowd at WDW than anyplace else on the planet, so bring it on! ;)

Since this is our first trip-I have no fear of July!! I am just so happy to be going. Heck, we are even living dangerously and going to be there for the 4th!!

This will be our first July trip and I was kinda concerned at first but I know it will be great. We'll do early mornings and late evenings and take a break in the middle of the day. And of course, we'll make use of fastpass!

Sure, it will be hot and crowded but, guess what - PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN WILL BE OPEN! pirate:

I love it!! When else can you be at MK at 2AM! The park hours in the summer are fantastic and if you plan it is a very doable time to see it all.
I am not afraid!!!

This will be our third July trip to WDW. Being teachers, that time of year works best for my DH and I, so that is when we go. I have also gone in Oct, Jan, Feb and March over the years (preteaching career), and actually enjoy July just as much due to the later park hours and fewer rehabs going on. A little planning, a few fast passes and some midafternoon breaks and July works out just great!

We've done all of the summer months since my parents are both teachers that's really the only time to go. When DFi and I went in Dec. it was like a whole new world for me!! What do you mean I don't have to go all the way to the end of the row or sit by someone?? Why am I wearing a sweatshirt! I felt like a fish out of water! That being said, I love the summer months. Yeah, it's hot and the lines aren't 2 minutes, but we've always made good use of our time and had great trips!!

July is the only choice we have. Every year, our vacation is in the middle of "vacation season". It's just part of it. We're just thrilled to be at Disney World, who cares about the heat and the crowds. It is what it is.

We love going during July. Yes, I'm sure some of you probably think I'm crazy; but it just happens to be that time of year when we are ready for a "break" from reality and when everyone in our family is free from camps and sports etc.. We always go for two weeks so we take our time at the parks..spend the first part of the day at one of the parks, go back to our hotel and eat a snack for lunch then swim, go out to eat, then finish the night at the Magic Kingdom or sometimes the other parks if they're on EMH. Oh, and of course, fast pass is our FRIEND! ha!

I'm not scared of July. I so bring on. Sure it will be hot just drink plenty water and powerade. I work outside in the heat so I'm use to it. After drink all that water get frozen lemonade it will hit the spot.

Not only are we not afraid of July, WE LOVE JULY!!!! People always ask us how we can stand going to Disney in the hot summer but we think its the best time. The parks are open late, you can swim even at night and there's just a festive atmosphere. If you plan it right you can have a ball.

Just a side note - we took a short trip in January this year for DH to run the marathon and everyone told us how much we would love it. Well it was very nice but the night that I was wrapping the kids in a blanket to watch Spectromagic I told DH we are definitely July people and he totally agreed.

To each their own but give me my water/spray fan bottle and we're good to go!

Can't wait for July 12!

We are Julyers as well. We were at WDW last year in July and the Disney resorts were filled to 97% capacity and while it was crowded you have to know how to "work it." We found that the park with the morning EMH was the most crowded park of the day. So go to the EMH park early, get your favorite rides out of the way and move on to another park.

We've been to WDW in Nov and Jan and everything closes so early, that we feel like it wastes our day. We love, love, love the evening EMH in summer, it soothes the crowded beast.

Already did July w 4 small kids a few years back...Now we are going in August!!!! :cool1:

No fear here!!! :cool1:
Of course, it may have to do with the fact that it's a "No Kids" vacation. Just me and my sweetheart chillin out at the GF, drinking Martini's, touring the World Showcase, and spending my birthday-day SHOPPING....for my kids, but still shopping!!! ;)
