There seem to be a lot of threads on how everyone loves McCain's choice of Palin. Just wondering if anyone is NOT impressed by her? I'm not looking for a debate, I honestly still don't know who to vote for because I don't completely agree or disagree with either of them. But I wasn't very impressed by her speech. I still have an open mind and plan on listening to the convention and debates though. Anyone else?

I'm not impressed either. She seems to weak an inexperienced to lead if something where to happen to McCain.

I don't know much about her but McCain's choice is painfully transparent. But he shot himself in the foot so it works for me. :thumbsup2

I'm very surprised that out of all the highly qualified candidates, this is who he chose. It "seems" to be a way for him to get the women voters, not the pick of the person who was most qualified. To be honest, I would have have been less surprised at Joe Lieberman.

Hmmm....I thought this tread was for people NOT impressed.:confused3

Anywho, not impressed so far.

BTW pot meet kettle. Inexperience on Obama's part??

She had a deer in the headlights look on her face. It'll be Crash and Burn at the VP Debates.

Even McCain looked concerned about getting to far away from her.

I wasn't expecting McCain's choice of VP to have much of an impact on how I feel, but I am thrilled at how he shook things up.:thumbsup2 I was very impressed with Palin's positive message, and thought she was poised, confident and inspiring.:thumbsup2

I'm not. Obama pointed out McCain's lack of judgement last night. This choice, the very next day, couldn't have demonstrated that lack of judgement more clearly. He'd have been better off with a known VP choice instead of an unknown one.

I'm doing research on her now because I don't have clue one about her. So far I'm not impressed. A nice little career, that's true. But not worthy of the Oval Office in any respect.

Awwwww I'm sorry for crashing your hatefest.:lmao: Carry on.:rotfl2:

Gee, we haven't seen ANY of those for Obama...have we??? ;)

I would never jump into a hatefest for a woman. I never put down what I am.

I'm happy he picked her and I hope she does well. I have no love for McCain but no hate either. I think this puts the whole election into prospective.

But I DO believe it was a very transparent choice. Transparent or not, it was the best choice he could make.

Wasn't that creepy how he stood at her elbow for the whole speech? I wasn't impressed with her speech. Her delivery was okay but I thougt it was strange that she introduced her family first. Of course since most people have never heard of her I guess she did need to do introductions.

I'm not impressed. Seriously not impressed.

No, I think it's a last ditch panic attack on McCain's campaign's part. This was not the choice that could have been made. I agree, she's not the person that should be the back up to the president.

Word on the street is she is tough and can hold her own. The VP debates will be awesome to watch. Watch out Biden.

Palin has executive experience. This is more experience than Obama and Biden.

This is probably needless to say...but I am not impressed.

I wasn't impressed by Palin. I found that she didn't really know what she was doing (deer in the headlights look) and that McCain couldn't get away from her. I don't know. If McCain has a heart attack in office (which is a possibility- he is 72 years old) I shudder to think of Palin taking over the presidency. She seems to have no specific qualifications for presidency. That's just my opinion.

Not impressed at all. She's my polar opposite in beliefs.

On one hand I think it's great that he picked a woman, on the other hand, I think it reeks of desperation.
