Anyone meet Joy and Sadenss yet?

What about someone with a PPO ADR for Garden Grill? We have one on one of our EPCOT days. I was going to try to RD Test Track and then go back to it later with our FP, but my DD wants to meet Joy and Sadness so I'm thinking it might be best to head straight to them after the Garden Grill ADR on that EPCOT day, even if it means only riding TT once that day with our FP.
In September, we entered Epcot prior to park opening and TT guests were held at a rope near TT.

The Character Attendants accompany the characters to the set; the line Attendants will be out early. And when it's an indoor meet where the line is indoors, guests are allowed to queue and wait.

I will be there tomorrow. How late do they meet, and do lines ease up in the evening?

On our last trip, we had an 8 am ADR at Garden Grill. We were done in time to ride Soarin' before the park opened, and then we met Baymax a few minutes after the park opened with a short line. I would bet if you left and headed straight for Character Spot, you'd be some of the first people in line.

Sounds like this is our plan, then! Thank you both!

We did this on Friday, April 8. We had a PPO ADR at Garden Grill. Even though they added AM EMH, we still met Joy and Sadness with only a 20-25 minute wait.

We weren't even planning to meet them, but looking at the app during breakfast, DD said she wanted to. We left GG and hopped in line around 8:55.

This is a game changer for me. It's too late to get a PPO GG, but I had a 8 am Akershus I'm now dropping. I'm thinking I may just drop all my fps anyway and the character meet and the interactive children's play area will be our main goal. We have scored a 10:20 GG so we may rope drop then go to breakfast. Or we'll just wander in like we're lost, eat breakfast then just wait. We have a stroller and it'll be worth the wait for us. The only thing we need a fp for is TT, which we have.

We went this past Monday. We got in line around 2:45 and it took exactly an hour to get to see Joy & Sadness. They were really cute.
