Very close to closing on my first contract, which is listed under "SSR - passed." Time to start again. I have made an offer which has been accepted by the seller. Contracts to be sent out on Monday; will be submitted for ROFR when all contracts are returned:

Contract info deleted. The GMAC agent found that the sellers had booked a reservation using most of the banked and current points they had claimed were available when they listed the property.

I am thankful to have been working with someone (Rachel) who checked into the situation quickly, saving me lots of time waiting for something that did not really exist.

Meanwhile, my first contract has closed, and info has been submitted to DVC. They tell me I should be in the system by the end of next week.

We just Passed ROFR, it took over a month. We got a 150pt BCV December use year contract for $85 / pt. Also our Friend just lost the same contract to Disney 2 weeks ago. We lost our first one two months ago to ROFR. So we are happy as can be. Should close on the 16th of June

I hadn't posted to this board, but have posted on Nurse Tammy's waiting for ROFR support group. We submitted for ROFR on 220 points at VWL, October UY, no banked points, $82/point on 5/9 and just heard from The Timeshare Store that we passed!!!! We're very excited. This is our first shot at DVC ownership.

However. we are still waiting to hear about a 125 point December UY BCV contract we submitted for ROFR on 5/14. We're paying a good deal more per point for that one (seemed impossible to find the small contract we wanted). So I feel good about that.

Congrats to all those others who recently passed.
