Yay, we couldn't be more excited We just got the email to confirm yesterday that Disney has waived their ROFR. The DVC package is ours. It only took 11 days to get through ROFR. They estimate another 28 days till close, but I am guessing quicker than that.

This is the DVC we bought:
Old Key West 230 points with a June use year. There are 204 points coming on 6/1/08 and 230 points coming on 6/1/09. Priced at $69 per point

My DW just received the very best of Mother's Days surprises: We made it through ROFR today!!

It took 16 days to make it through, if anyone's keeping track of such things. Here's the details:

150 points...SSR...$78/point...Feb. use year. With full 2008 points available, it was a good deal, and I'm still surprised that Disney let this one through. Nevertheless, Horray!!

Passed today! We submitted our bid on 4/21, had it accepted and signed the contract the same day. We went in for ROFR on 4/22 and heard back today. We are non-DVC owners buying 120 points at SSR at $82 per point. We are receiving 120 banked points from 2007, and all points 2008 forward (Aug UY). All closing fees and 2008 dues are paid by the buyer.
