We received word today we are BCV peeps! Little to no points for UY 12/08, so thats a drag, but looking forward to in soon! Just tilled the soil for sowing the seeds of good times to come!

Any idea how long before we will be completely finished and in Disney's system to make a reservation?

We just closed on a VB contract. Still not in the system yet, but here's our timeline so far.
* Passed ROFR on 3/27.
* Estoppels came back to GMAC on 4/21. This allowed the title company to prepare the closing docs.
* Received closing docs on Friday, 4/25. Returned everything to GMAC on Wednesday, 4/30 (didn’t get closing docs till late in the day on Friday and went on a business trip 4/28 and 4/29).
* Contract closed on 5/16.
* Deed was recorded through Indian River County on 5/20.
* As of today, we're not in Dis's system yet.

yahoo!!!! We just heard from tss that we passed rofr...and in about 28 days we will be owners of OKW !!!!! wow I was so nervous. This took only 11 days not too bad

Can anyone give me an idea about when we can make a reservation?

After we closed, it took about 3-5 days to be in the system and another 5 days or so to have points we could actually reserve with. Our ROFR to Closing time was a bit off normal because the buyers had a vacation scheduled and we had to wait until that was finished.

Wow - almost two months after passing ROFR and still not able to make reservations? Is this normal?

I'd say this is average. Some people get in sooner and some are a little later. This contract purchase is proceeding at the same pace as our previous two contracts, but it sure does seem s-l-o-w!!! I think the time of year and how fast the buyers/sellers get their paperwork back to the broker plays a big role in the timeline. We're still not in the system yet, but should be by the end of the week.

Hope the rest of the process flies for you!!! Just glad you're past the worst part....ROFR !!!

Howdy. Our BCV contract - 125 points, $96/point, December UY with 133 points beginning 12/1/08, passed ROFR on Thursday 5/22 (submitted on 5/9). This beats our VWL contract for 220 points & October UY that I posted about previously by one business day (that contract was submitted on 5/5 and passed on 5/19). Still a great turnaround time. We'll see which one makes it through estoppel and closes first. Congratulations to everyone else making progress out there!

Heard back today that we PASSED ROFR!!!!

I had to e-mail my broker and ask since it'd been since early May and I figured we should know REALLY soon. She responded today that we had passed. Now just gotta move on to the next process. Maybe we'll be done before we know it!!! ME DH DS12 DS9
