Frankiesmom, I am so sorry to hear that. Been there done that...no fun and very disapointing. We were determined and found a contract quickly and I am sure you will too!!

I am actually surprised. I would have thought yours was no problem based on previous ones that passed. It had to be something other than price. Maybe uy or something. I don't get it on yours.

Sorry to hear the bad news Frankiesmom. I'm working on getting a contract soon and hope I pass ROFR as well. It's too stressful waiting for the results.

Frankiesmom, sorry to hear about you not passing ROFR. I'm shocked actually. Our contracts were pretty similar (same price, same UY, left over '07 points, mine was just a slightly bigger contract - 210 points.)

Don't give up though - everything happens for a reason, and I'm sure an even better contract is right around the corner!

We found out this morning that we passed ROFR! Jaki from ********** actually emailed us the good news late last night, so it was approved yesterday (4/25) or before. We're non-members (not for long!) and are buying 210 pts at BCV, Feb UY, $90/pt. There are 114 pts left for this year and none borrowed or banked.

We don't know exactly what day it went to Disney, but we just faxed our contract on 4/11, and Jaki notified us on 4/21 that it had gone for ROFR (the delay was on the sellers' end -- it's a co-brokered contract with GMAC, and they had to FedEx docs both ways and get things notarized). Even with that slight delay, it went super fast - much faster than we expected! Jaki is top-notch -- I have nothing but good things to say.

I have to tell you, I love your avitar. My oldest DS used to love Fraggle Rock. I think he knew all the songs by heart. I would love to get the DVD but man is it expensive. Maybe when the grandkids come along...for them.....of course.

I have a delayed addition to this thread. We closed today on a 240 point wilderness lodge June UY. This came with all 2006 points that expire this May, all 2007 points and all 2008 points coming. We paid 80$ per point and all closing and 07 MF. This thread has been very helpful. Good luck to all!
