Still waiting on that second BWV contract. I'm seeing others in the same timeline who've passed. Hopefully, I'll join them soon...

We lost out on a BWV contract (too late to put in offer) BUT instead have just received word that our offer for 135 AKV points has been accepted-SEP UY and all '07' points so Hurrah-1st hurdle over!!

Now I have to get the contracts signed and back to USA with deposit.

After that the dreaded ROFR. Don't know if it will pass at $90 a point (fingers crossed). As i live in ROI, ONLY chance I have to buy is via re-sale OR travel to Florida to do it (& that doesn't make sense unless already on a trip!!)

I TRULY NEED THE LUCK OF THE IRISH TO GET ME THROUGH!!

Hi I am new to posting on this site but here we go. I got word that disney has waived their right and we should close in about 28 days. Purchased Saratoga Springs 100 points with all 07' and 08' points. Can't wait to get back to disney.

Well I checked my email at 6:00 tonight and had an email from Carrie at a timeshare broker. With it coming back this quickly I was thinking it was bad news (7 working days)
To my surprise Disney waived on my contract. YEA!!!

Just heard that my offer (second one) was accepted for BWV. It's $87 a point and I pay costs and dues, but it does have all 2006 & 2007 points as well as all points in December 2008.
I'm thinking of renting the 2006 points as I don't really need them so this will off set some of the initial cost.
Contracts are on their way to us in the next day or two so I'll let you know how I get on.
Waiting to hear about my offer was agony so I don't know what it'll be like once I know the paperwork has been sent to Disney for ROFR!

Sorry but I forgot to say that I'm buying 200 points at BWV.

I contacted all of the major sellers when I first started looking into buying.
All responded but GMAC were first off the ball and offered me a loaded contract which I put an offer in for. This was eventually turned down by the sellers.

In the meantime I'd been contacted by **** of ********** but he didn't have anything I was interested in. However I told him that I would be interested if something else came up and a couple of days later he sent me details of the points I'm buying. However by the time I went to put an offer in some one else had got there first! Well that fell threw and **** contacted me again and that's where we are today.

Long story but basically the answer to REL1203 is **** ***** (he did mention that he had another 200 BWV contract but that was a few days ago).

Best thing to do is contact the resale sellers as both contracts I offered on never appeared in their listings.

Thanks to a surprise gift that had a stipulation attached that it be spent on something frivolous, we decided to see if a small contract at DVC at AKL would be a possibility. Woohoo, it is! All passed and done!

50 points at AKV, April use year, no points for '08, $100 per point, submitted March 10, passed ROFR March 25.

We weren't planning on going back to Disney for 2 -3 years, so this will work well for us. Yippee!

Hi all! Well not good news- we didn't pass ROFR. I guess disney thought my deal was too good! We'll just keep looking. I am bummed to say the least.
