I heard that Madonna will be opening the show with The Gorillaz. That should be interesting. Used to be a big Madonna fan but no so enamored this days. But that should be a "different" performance.

I haven't heard who some of the other performers are but it sounds like a lot as they will only be showing eleven actaul awards during the 3 hour show.

Yes, yes, yes - I want to see Linkin Park perform NUMB with Jay Z!!!!!!

Looking forward to seeing Steven Tyler and Joe Perry jammin' it up!!

I want to see Linkin Park with Jay Z too as well as Mariah Carrie (Big come back this year)

As long as it doesn't interfere with our regular shows, I'll watch parts of it. It's usually too dull to watch completely though.

We love music and are looking forward to it.

I got this email last week:

Robert Randolph will be performing at the 48th Annual Grammy Awards as part of a tribute to Sly & The Family Stone. This tribute will feature Maroon 5, Will.I.Am of The Black Eyed Peas, John Legend, Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, Joss Stone, and Devin Lima.

Yea, I'll be watching American Idol. I can't stand award shows and the egos they stroke!

That's a bit harsh. Most industries use some type of award program.

Anyway, I was referring to Lost. We can't miss that!

Nope. I went to the show back in I think 1997 in NYC (sis won a trip thru Diet Coke and the local radio station). That was the most boring thing I have ever sat thru (then whole show, not just the televised part), and now I can't stand to watch.

Besides, I don't listen to most of that music anymore, so I wouldn't even know who most of the people are. :teeth:

YES! Go Coldplay!

Stewart Copeland is nominated for best instrumental.

But, I have TIVO, so I should be able to watch the entire show in about 20 minutes. :teeth:

Isn't Alicia Keys supposed to perform? If so, I'll watch for her. I think she has so much talent!

Won't be watching, but I hope Paul McCartney does well - his newest album is GREAT and deserves recognition. I think he's performing too!

I'm excited! I love award shows. However I will vomit if Candyshop gets best rap song.

I want to see the Madonna and Gorillaz performance too, but I am not missing a second of LOST!

No.

I have a person in our Bunko group who is there tonight. So we'll get the scoop when we play on Fat Tuesday. Now that--I cannot wait for. ;)

Bruce Springsteen is performing and nominated for several awards. I can't wait to see him perform. I think I am the only teenager in the world that would rather watch "The Boss" than Fallout Boy, Linkin Park, Kelly Clarkson, etc. LOL.
