Anyone live in Wilmington,N.C.

Hey everyone I am looking for some information on this area. If anyone has anything at all I would appreciate it. Maybe some info on the cost of living..property taxes...schools...how is the school system there?..We are possibly looking to relocate and we were looking into around here. We head down that way to hang out and love it, but I don't know the answer to those specific questions. I do know a DISer that used to live there though. I will PM him and see if he can help you out.

Wilmington is a booming city. It has grown too fast for the roads. It's hard to get around until you learn the shortcuts. Can't say much about the school system other than that UNCW is one of the best Marine Biology schools in the country. Cost of living is still relatively low. I loved it when we lived there from '87 through '99. My oldest was born at New Hanover Memorial. Great Dr.s there. Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with.
I believe they still film a few shows as well as an occasional movie there.
