Anyone live in Kings lynn?

Were going down to Kings Lynn on Monday as DH is having an op in a private hospital there on tuesday. Does anyone live there to let me know what its like?
I think the name of the hospital is the BMI Sandringham. I will be going down with him and staying in a Hotel/b&b, just wandered what Kings lynn is like. We live between Manchester and Liverpool so its miles away and niether of us have ever been.

DH and I spent an afternoon there when our muffler gave out on our way to Old Hunstanton. We walked around the village whilst the car was repaired. It was (as I remember being 5 years ago) really nice . Sorry I don’t have more info, but we were only there for the afternoon.
