Anyone live in a planned development where the house look alike?

Southern4sure, I love the rounded walls. That's lovely. :)

Me too esp when I figure out what to do with them.

I grew up in a subdivision that had exactly 3 floorplans; well, 6, if you count that they did mirror images of each of them. It always reminded me of this song:

Little Boxes

Little boxes, on the hillside
Little boxes made of ticky-tacky
Little boxes, on the hillside
Little boxes, all the same

There's a green one, and a pink one,
And a blue one, and a yellow one
And they're all made out of ticky-tacky
And they all look just the same

And the people in the houses
All went to the University
Where they were put in boxes
And they came out all the same

And there's doctors, and there's lawyers,
And business executives
And they're all made out of ticky-tacky
And they all look just the same

And they all play on the golf course
And drink their martinis dry
And they all have pretty children
And the children go to school

And the children go to summer camp
And then to the University
Where they're all put in boxes
And they come out all the same

And the boys go into business
And marry and raise a family
In boxes made of ticky-tacky
And they all look just the same

Love the rounded walls, but GOSH.. What a painting challenge. We got a choice of just one base color to paint the house. DH wanted white, but I overruled him and got "Sienna Sand." My living room is so tall, I knew I'd never be able to repaint it. So I painted the whole house the color I wanted that room to be.

Now I'm slowly going through and painting the other rooms the color I want. I have a red dining room and 1/2 bath downstairs, one mocha colored guest bedroom, and I'm about to paint the kitchen a terracotta color. I haven't decided on how to paint the other two bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs or our master bed and bath.
