anyone listening?

Internet division is talking about their exciting new technology called "Motion," which is used on the Disney homepage to provide fluid animations interactive with sound.

They call it Motion, but most of us would call it Flash.

Well, I didn't expect to hear The Beatles during the meeting.

All Together Now!!!
All Together Now, All together Now!!!

Did they forget the votes have already been cast??

blah, blah, blah, MOO

blah, blah, blah MOO

blah MOO

MOO MOO

How can this woman try to spin ABC Family into something good?

The Power Rangers? Please!!!

When are we ever going to get to the exciting part? It is so boring it seems like we will never get there.

Do kids still like The Power Rangers? I didn't even know they were still around.

Wasn't able to post for awhile, but the constant references to double digit growth are downright amusing. (they've been spouting this at anyone who would listen)

Is anybody REALLY impressed by double digit growth when its based on a comparison to poor numbers to begin with.

One analyst earlier today said that even with the growth they are projecting, they won't reach '97 levels until '06. I'm not sure if that meant revenue, eps, or what, but I do hope folks are looking at "double digit growth" analytically.

Shop Talk on CNBC is currently discussing the Ei$ner situation.

Two representatives of securities companies in Atlanta and New York both voted no to Ei$ner on institutional shares it holds.

You know, I wouln't bash the Power Rangers.

I know personally I've spent hundreds upon hundreds of dollars on all things Power Rangers for my DS (7) - yes, they never outgrow the Power Rangers. Every year they have a new Power Rangers series, I don't think promoting the Power Rangers is a bad thing for Disney but that's just my opinion.

Wouldn't it be funny if every time as speaker mentioned "branding, branded, etc." people in the audience went "MOOOOOOOO"---inappropriate maybe but funny too.

classic, advertising on the Disney channel is promotion that pixar simply cannot buy.

That was great, Pixar will NEVER succeed, not without Disney channel promotions, how DID lord of the rings do it?

You know, we should have set up a drinking game in advance

Brand, leverage, double-digit growth, franchises.

Too funny Belle. That had me laughing outloud. Why not add some excitement to this. Innappropriate...ya but fun!!!

Yes, but the price they paid for the Power Rangers will never pay off. They are much better off creating their own characters in house instead of having to pay big $$ for other people's properties.
