Anyone like the food in the American Adventure Pavilon?

I agree, it's pretty bad for the place that is supposed to represent "America." If they're serving essentially fast food, they should dress the place up like a fast food place, not like even the cafeteria it really is.

I agree with one poster above who would prefer more of a Liberty Tree type of place there. That would fit with the theming, and is much, much better food, yet still "American style", whatever that means.

I'd happily eat American food, if by American they meant jambalaya or clam chowder or even buffalo wings and Chicago style pizza. But if "American" is code for "greasy, fried and uninteresting", I'll move on to a different pavilion.

Ah, but they'd have to have New York style too for those of us who want to taste the sauce and toppings and not just the bread. :)

Seriously though...as I said in another rant... If people would actually encourage their children to try new things rather than indulging in their pickiness, we might not see this dumbing down of menus.

And isn't it the same burger and fries or hot dog and fries you can get at just about any CS restaurant all over the resort? They all taste the same to me.

Seriously, there are a lot of things that you can blame menu changes on, but I don't think picky kids are one of them. My kid not wanting to eat cold chicken strips is not the reason Le Cellier took the whatever off the menu that everybody is all up in arms about.
And as I said in quite a few rants about the children's menu's - kids are picky for different reasons. Some have texture issues, some have sensory issues, some are just plain pains in the neck to feed. If I'm on vacation for 7 out of the 365 days a year, and I have to fight/beg/trick/bribe my son 358 days about new or healthy food, we are BOTH going to take a vacation from that during the 7 days that we are in the "Happiest Place on Earth" and if all he eats is chicken nuggets and pizza for the 2% of the year we are in WDW, so be it.
