Some of the animals over at Animal Kingdom Lodge used to live in the Park but were evicted because they kept slowing down the ride vehicles (or, in the case of one young giraffe, kept trying to lick the people in the ride vehicles).

We were first in line at rope drop. The communications system was down--they had people trying to fix it from about 8:55 AM onwards. Quite frustrating, CMs eventually started telling us to ride other things because they had no idea when it would be back up.
