Anyone know if you can exchange TS credits for a CS quick meal on the DDP?

We are just going through all of our ADRs for our upcoming trip. It seems that we will actually end up with extra TS credits. With 2 young kids, it would be much easier for us to use those TS credits for a quick CS meal on the fly. They won't be able to take too many more long sit down dinners, and we want to be able to be a little more flexible with our time.

And yes, we already have several charcter meals planned, including Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, and all the Princess meals. Thanks!:thumbsup2

But you could always ask at your resort when you check-in.

But what about planning to go to a buffet without characters...those usually move pretty quickly! Lunch can be an AWESOME break in the middle of the day...my kids loved sit-down meals at lunch (ages 2, 5, and 7)

Did you count CRT (the castle) as two sit-down credits?

What about a dinner show-- the one at Ft. Wilderness is a hand clapping foot stomping good time kids like. (2 credits and not a bore!)

If you're staying at a moderate or a deluxe you could consider a To GO box.

You're giving up a 30 + dollar meal for a $10 meal if they let you do it. But I understand that kids sometimes change the way we would normally do things!!

have a great trip.

We paid for CRT out of pocket since we had to book before the 2007 dining plan was announced. I just left it at that. We really don't want or need any more character meals!! We'll be happy to just get a quick slice of pizza....popcorn::

We did two weeks ago. We had a few extra TS meals for the same reason you said...our children are young and we didn't want a TS meal every night. We were able to use TS credits at Riverside Mill in POR (food court) and at the Mexico CS place in Epcot. You probably can't count on it, though. Another way to use TS credits if you still have time in your schedule is Hoop de Doo. My kids loved it, and it was worth 2 TS credits to us.

See if you can get your money back for CRT? and apply the dining credits to it. Did you pay a deposit or did you have to prepay the entire amount?

Well, it sounds like you've got it worked out since you can see that some have been sucessful in doing just what you suggested.

I see from your siggy that you are a 1st timer. I highly recommend getting to the parks early and kepping a regular bedtime for your kids.

happy trip!
