Anyone know if the Ice Cream at Beaches and Cream has egg in it?

My daughter has an egg allergy and I was wondering if anyone happens to know if the ice cream at Beaches and Cream has egg in it? I'm planning to email and get allergy info once we make our ADRs, but I figured I would ask here about B&C in case someone could give me a quick answer.

I'm sure we could get her orange sherbet since they have it on hand for the Frozen Sunshine, but I'm kind of hoping she can get ice cream.

I'm guessing the standard ice cream has eggs. Someone posted once what brand it was - just a regular national brand - but I forget what it was.

They probably have something for those with allergies -you might ask your question on the DISabilities board - the posters and mods there will know more about the choices.

Edited: After I posted, I realized I was thinking more about milk than eggs (it's still early, you know)! But I would still ask your question on the DISabilities board!

Don't know the answer to your particular question, but the ice cream at B&C is the same Edy's ice cream you get anywhere at WDW.

Thank you! That's helpful. Edy's is one where some have egg and some don't so we can just inquire about different flavors to find one she can have.

We have different types of food allergies that we have to deal with in our group but what I find is for the CS meals, you can ask right there and get answers. For your ??? about Beaches & Cream, I would call Disney Dining and get the direct phone # to speak directly to them at B&C to find your answer.

We deal with different allergies (soy and some fruits) but the chefs and CMs at Beaches and Cream have been FABULOUS with dd's allergies. It's the only place in the World she can get a real hamburger on a real hamburger bun If you go through special diets (Brenda Bennett is the main liason--info on DISabilities) you will be able to correspond with the head chef through email.
