Anyone know if Julie had the baby?

My feet didnt grow thankfully because they are already a size 10. That would have been scary if they got any bigger.

Ummmm, hello? My feet started out size 10. They got bigger.

One more scary thing about me won't make any difference, I guess...

Mindy you arent scary at all. Those pics of you look so friendly and your call in still has me in stiches. From the sounds of it you are a blast to hang with. I totally can relate to the huge feet. Do you have trouble finding shoes now? My width got bigger not the length thankfully.

I am with you on that....at a size 11 (since high school), I am praying my feet don't grow with this second one....nothing is worse than picking out that cute shoe on the display size 8, then seeing it in a size 11, and I can't imagine a 12. At least I know I will not be blowing over in a windstorm any time soon.

It is MISERABLE finding shoes. Department stores only carry to size 10. Some shoe places go to size 11, but usually only in 3 or 4 "styles".

I go online, Zappos.com or onlineshoes.com. Zappos has a free return policy, and they ship within a day or two...still a process to get shoes that fit and feel good, but at least you can do it in the privacy of your own home.

I like really ugly butch shoes anyway, so I don't worry about fitting the feet into something delicate and pretty. My fanciest shoes are Keen maryjanes in black...they make my feet look like Minnie Mouse's.

Julie -

Just want to wish you the best of luck in these remaining days! I know the end is hard, but like you said, it is all about the grand prize at the end! Enjoy the few days of help at the hospital and enjoy your perfect little miracle:cloud9:

Thanks so much, Jill! I did not know that you were expecting again, Congratulations!! :cloud9:

Has anyone ever done a belly cast?????

We did one a few days before #4 was born because we knew it would be our last and I loved being pregnant so i wanted to catch my prenant belly in a 3D medium.:lmao: DH now calls it our really big chip and dip's bowl. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I would post pics to give an example of what it looks like but we included my chest so....... ya, not gonna happen!

Sucks to be hijacked by women's shoes!!:lmao:
Ill get my wife to take over this thread..
We love talking about Ultrasounds and babies, but "Women's Shoes?":confused3

I'm a regular listener, but usually only lurk on this board but I have to chime in on the shoe size issue. Not meaning to scare you Julie, but when I got pregnant with DD I wore a size 7 1/2. Well, I just recently decided to start running again and went to get my feet sized. I am now the proud owner of a pair of size 9 1/2 NB(also known as sled runners:lmao: )!!!!:scared1: I told the cute little sales guy "No wonder my feet hurt every time I run.":rotfl2:

Mandy, about the belly cast advice I need to give a warning if anyone decides to do it. We decided to do one when I was pregnant and did it in the basement so as not to make a mess upstairs. I sat in the chair so long that when I stood up, I immediately passed out and fell straight forward on my belly on a concrete floor. The baby was fine but I did have to go in to have everything checked out. Now, I'm not too sure DH ever recovered from having to lift my gargantuan body up off the dirty floor-LOL. So, I guess if you do it just try to move around a little during the process.

Anyway, back on topic here. Good luck with the childbirth, Julie, and don't worry about cleaning house, etc. because..... Pay attention now, this is very important...YOUR HOUSE WILL NEVER BE CLEAN AGAIN!!!!!!:rotfl:

OMG! I am so glad you and the baby were ok! I don't remember it taking a super long time but we did not do a thick cast either.
