Anyone know if CONTINENTAL offers credits if fare goes down?

With the high rates SW released today I'm thinking of going with Continental for $200 less then what SW is going for, I know SW offters credits if fare goes down, but anyone know about Continental ?

I think they will credit you, but you have to pay a hefty fee for changing your ticket. It's usually not worth it.

There unfortunately is not a good answer for this, if you purchase a ticket and the fare goes down generally you will not get a credit. However, if you purchase a ticket and change your reservations and the new reservation is cheaper you will get a travel voucher for future travel for the fare difference, but this is also depending on the type of fare your original reservation is booked on (either discount or full fare type codes).

Continental will charge you a change fee of either $30 or $50 per ticket, depending on the fare code for your ticket. My fare for Sept is down $10 each ticket, but it is not worth changing if I have to pay a fee.

Thank you! I'm not really worried about getting a credit so much if the fare goes down but more so about the possibility of changing my dh's flight due to work.

When we changed our outbound flight on Continental from 4/15 to 4/13, I had to pay the $30 change fee per ticket pluse $30 extra per ticket for the change in fare for the flight I wanted.
